the four grandkids had a sleepover last night, with my daughter supervising... while my son and his wife were taking our stepson to Pechanga to celebrate his 21st...

house was full of noise and energy that only 4 kids, ranging in age from 3.75 to 7.75 yrs can muster this morning ... my SIL graciously came over to make a pancake breakfast for all...

mornings like this remind me how blessed my wife and I are...I feel that word fits although we are not religious at all, but she was raised a Catholic ...


we always say how small the house is when all the grandkids are here and bouncing off the walls...

then how big and quiet our house is when everyone goes home.
