(Back story: Went to my old-favorite, aquarium shop for a visit, just to see what it looks like with its new owner after 15 years absence (after loosing everything in my 105 marine tank due to a four-day power outage following a hurricane- and just not wanting to restart again due to heartbreak and cost.
Turns out.. the original owner had to take the business back when the buyer/new owner couldn't pay it off- like 10 years ago. When I walked in, he saw me and started crying. We were good friends before he moved away to retire in Montana for years...)
Any how, no more marine fish (can't get/cost too much)- he used to have only the best and rarest corrals.
Now it's strictly fresh water including the Tanganyikans I was breeding 35 years ago. Son now wants his own aquarium again and he's paying, so we are starting with lelupi, brichardi, frontosa and julidichromis...
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
