Things run pretty well in MA. Tons of opportunity, well regarded schools, zillions of highly regarded Universities, one of the best places in the world for medical care, arts, culture...pretty much at the top of of the list of places offering what most humans regard as defining a high standard of living. Not uncommon for a moderate Republican to be Governor either.
Of course there's a down side, and as I often say A Deal is Only as Good as the Down Side. High taxes, but this life style ain't cheap. The rep of taxachusetts is way out of style too as I think we are ranked closer to the middle of states than to the top in taxes. Should be less government too. And I am against mandates, though I could see a time when everyone might be for them, but it would have to be for something unthinkably threatening...getting away from my point.
If you can live with the down side, take the deal. Obviously I am taking the deal, but I'm not blind.
Not blind, but also not pushing to get rid of opposing political views. Not calling the GOP or conservatives any insanely whacky names, not assigning bizarre charges such as pedophile, Satan embodied, cannibalistic, immoral reptiles.
Name calling i sfine, but there are a bunch of nuts who mean it literally and are some really scary angry righwingnuts who think God is whispering in their ears.
I just think those more normal types of conservatives are often wrong, but not subhumans who deserve horrible, painful, torturous lives.
I'd like to be rid of the dangerous fringe on both sides, but I mean by voting them out. I don't like Ayanna Pressley much more than Marjorie Taylor Greene.
