Looking to get our son a cordless blower to use when he dries off his car after he washes it. I've never used one but he said using a blower is better for the car's finish. Anyway, I've looked at a few models but thought I'd check with youse guys to see if anyone has some experience / recommendations with them.

So far I've looked at Worx, Makita, EGO, Milwaukee and DeWalt. Our daughter is gonna chip in so our budget is somewhere around $250-$300.

It's good for getting the water out of the cracks and crevices, to be sure... but better for the finish? Nah... just use the proper drying towels. Microfiber, chamois, or the like.

Lots of very good info on that site. Plus they sell really good detailing products. When I had my G37 I did all my own detailing. Got a lot of good stuff from them.

No, it's not exactly what you meant, and yes it's a touch above stated budget, but it is cordless and 180mph sounds like fun.

BTW I agree with previously stated opinions on towels for finish, both for older paints and the modern stuff
