Franking squirrels... them bassturds are wicked smart. Nearly impossible to keep them out of the bird feeders. Squirrel proof bird feeders are a farce.

The tree rats have special abilities. They don't officially have thumbs but have ankles that can rotate 180°

I just find it intriguing that a "lower life form" can out fox simple human endeavors. Even the most common squirrel proof feeders are not squirrel proof. Short of having sharks with laser beams attached to their heads, or a coyote... it's rather hard to defeat a determined tree rat. Sometimes ya just gotta sit outside and watch nature happen. It's the little things in life.
