Trump said Elon was sniffin' around the White House looking for subsidies and stuff and pretending he was a devoted Trumper. Although Musk is to blame for his shenanigans, I don't put total blame on Musk, I blame the bureaucratic corporate welfare lobbyist system that has always perpetuated it.
I remember when Ben was a cheerleader for the corporate state, he said in effect that the government giving out stolen loot to special interests to advance the pet projects of politicians and their donors was so progressive that without it technological progress would not be possible. We'd have to rely on capitalism which would be bad. Something like that.
