No idea what conditions they have been kept in for 100 years, nor would I pay that much, but they're still cool. I like this old stuff.

One of my top five cigars of all time was it a 30 year old Cuban that buckwheat sent me. But it had been well cared for.

I am with Tony on this one. I am betting they litterally turn to dust when you pick them up. If they had been stored properly in a humidor all this time the listing would be bragging about that.

I’ve thought about vacuum sealing some smokes. Stash em for 10 years. See how they were then vs storing some in the humidor. Say you bought 2 boxes. Something good that you don’t smoke daily or weekly. That box tends to last longer than you think. Take the second box that you know is at proper humidity. Well cared for. Vacuum seal just the cigars. Out of the box. See how they are later.

I can’t see a good reason why it wouldn’t perfectly preserve them.

I you home vacuum seal, leave them in the box and don't evacuate quite all the air. If you do, you'll pull the lid down and compact the cigars (ask me how I know... lol)

If you vacuum seal them out of the box, they tend to get messed up and come out looking like driftwood.

^ ever left any sealed? Just curious how that would work for years. Just toss em in a closet. No need to worry about them
