The California Air Resources Board voted to end the sale of gas furnaces and gas water heaters by the year 2030.

Sounds like they really are on the fence about this. I mean if they're gonna do it..do it. Don't just talk about it.

Caught the propaganda piece on CBS this morning….

So people will have to buy electric furnaces and water heaters...which will be powered by electricity from natural gas. And limiting consumers' choices will drive up the price of furnaces and water heaters!

I'm currently about 60/40 love/hate. It was 70/30 just a few years ago.

I can see myself moving within the next 3 or 4 years. Just gotta find a place where the winters aren't too brutal and the cost of living isn't ridiculously high.

It’s illegal to throw compostable material in with regular trash. Even table scraps. Gotta go in the green bin.

Years ago, “Hollywood Effect” crushed their electrical grid when the population switched in mass to electric toothbrushes. Despite the fact that their grid could never support such loads, they still reject the only practical solution - gas powered toothbrushes.

Yeah - they be cray cray…

We can’t use electric toothbrushes between 4pm and 9pm.
