Has anyone else had major tunneling problems with Romeo cigars? A recent batch I got have been virtually unsmokable. Using 68 pct Boveda packs. Have no problems with other cigars.

Never had a problem. I don’t smoke anything from General or Atladis.

The majority of tunneling issues I've had were due to not being properly humidified. I would let them sit for a few weeks or a month and then try again. Though I have had some tunneling due to a bad rolls but it's pretty rare in my experience.

Check the cigars with a humi-meter. I feel it's worth the investment. It's good to check cigars right when you get them to see what they were stored at. If it's really high compared to my other ones I put them in a separate container to dry out a little before going into my main storage. If they are too dry I toss them in a separate container with a humi pack till it comes up some, then to my main.

I'm with Clint. You say you got them recently, so I would advice letting them sit a few weeks or more.

Noob question, can someone define tunneling for me?

Tunneling is when the filler tobacco burns way faster than the binder/wrapper.

Canoeing is when one side of the cigar burns way faster than the other side.
