I have some singles on the way but don't know if I want to invest in a humidor just yet, can I keep them in a Tupperware? Or in the freezer? Also, what's the fattest chode on the market? I'm talking like 4"x120 or even chodier, I'm trying to look weird dawg

Tupperware is usually going to be better than a wooden humidor. Most people who start off with wood eventually turn to Tupperware anyway. Cheaper, less maintenance, works better.

If you need to, you can even double bag in ziplocs. They'll stay fresh that way for months. Throw in a bovada, you're good.

You might look weird sucking on a thick brown shaft like that. Are you sure that's the look you're going for?

I read something recently about somebody releasing some super thick cigar. I think it was on Halfwheel. Maybe check there. I think most of the people here are intimidated by that much girth.

But don't get me wrong, those cigars are not at all phallic.

Freezers are bad unless you're going to follow whistlbritches's anti-beetle protocol, but that involves rehumidifying in a humi/tupper/cooler anyway. Fridges are just bad with no redeeming value

Several brands roll a 6x60 gordo, but if you really want to suck on a massive shaft, Asylum has some blends rolled in 7x70 and 8x80. There's also one called April Fools that's rolled in a 9x90. Don't see much of any of those come up on Cbid though

Tupperware with Boveda humidity pack at normal room temperature is perfect to start out, but you cannot beat a decent humidor for a small collection. I have stored cigars in their boxes in coolers for years and have had no problems.

I moved on from wooden humidors to a tupperdore with some nice cedar trays and a few bovedas, and never looked back! No fridge. No Freezer. Tupperware, son. Tupperware...

When you say coolers are you talking about those electric ones or what you take to the beach? Just want to be sure I’m following.

Like the regular one you put ice in and take to the beach. A good cooler controls the temperature swings. I keep my stogies inside in large Tupperware. I haven’t really had any issues with anything so haven’t tried regular coolers.

And the test should be done all around the cooler……it can be fine in some spots, not so fine in others.
You can use weather stripping to improve the cooler seal in spots if needed.
