Many of the major cigar makers are using Aganorsa baccy these days. Some of my favorite blends from Warped, Carrillo and Padron are customers and the reason is 100% of the crop is Cuban seed and they have employed Cuban agronomists to grow and process the crops.

While they are employing the Cuban methods, the soil composition in Nicaragua is not the same and I can't say I find any Cuban "twang" in their cigars.

I always wondered if the chemical make up of Cuban soils could be duplicated in another country via amendments.
