I have been smoking a lot Connies lately, New World( AJ) has been my fav lately.......just wanta see what your fav is? creaminess is needed....Jaime no comments! lol

I recently purchased different fivers of Connies that I’ve never tried. I’m also seeking that creamy and nutty flavor. I’ve smoked mostly the Macanudo Cafe and Montecristo Perlado. For the price I think they are reliable cigars meaning I get what I expect and construction is always great. I do like the flavor of those but they seem to lack oomph. I have some AJF New World Connies in storage waiting their turn. Haven’t had them long and I like to wait at least a month before I burn anything, even Connies and Cams.
I’m interested to see what gets posted here.

Have you tried any Peping rolled OTT? Mmmmmmm….

Not a Connie fan but the JDN Uno, Sobremesa Blue and Perdomo Champagne are my usual suspects.

Tatuaje is making quite a few now also my friend.

Not a big fan of Connies but Oliva makes some nice ones as others have mentioned.

A lot of the Connecticut shade tobacco is grown an hour or so away in the Connecticut River valley (hence the name) in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and southern Vermont. I've driven by some the farms on the back roads to Springfield but never stopped in to visit. I don't even know if they do visits or tours. It would be neat to look into though.

I bought for a yardgar and ended up loving them.
La Palina classic Connecticut.
The Rosado is very good too.

I'm more of a Maduro fan but the following are good.

Ashton Cabinet
Cohiba Connecticut
Macanudo Cafe Hyde Park
Macanudo Inspirado White

Bucky, The harvest is really something to see. There are hundreds of old tractors with 40 foot custom rack trailers loaded with hanging tobacco plants headed from the fields to the barns then circling back for another load. I drive by the fields all the time and sometimes just stop to take in the sight of the tobacco before harvest, it really is a beautiful thing.

Only one I have as a regular rotation cigar is the Sombremesa Brulee. I initially was writing it off for the sweetened cap, but the blend is actually great. More recent production seems to be lacking much if any sweetening on the cap too. I will say I disliked the robusto over the Toro or say the double Corona as the robusto had a very sharp sour note that I connotate with certain Connecticut blends. I don't get that in the Toro and above.

My Father Connecticut …………a little more oomph than a typical connie, which is why I like em.
The San Lotano connie is good as well

Haven't tried the MF conny, but I haven't tried something from Don Pepin that wasn't good.
