On vacation I found a little shop that rolls they're own cigars. Fancy label and all. I bought a few. Tried one today. It was pretty good.

That sounds interesting. So, was it freshly rolled?

I didn't get a chance to talk to them much. There was a guy sitting up front rolling. The walk in humidor was full of different blends. All their label.

I also just recently found a shpo while traveling that had their own private label cigars.
I bought a box and just tried one the other day. Absolutely delicious! Damn, I was surprised.
You all should try em…

reminds me that I have to go back to Mursuli's, a local Mom and Pop shop that rolls their own and only sells what they roll. Before we moved here to Corona, the shop was about a 30 minute drive from home in Downey, and I'd go 2-3 times a year to pick up a dozen different cigars among their offerings of light, dark, barber poles, sweet, romustos, toros, lanceros, petite coronas, churchills, corona grandes...

It's now about an hour and fifteen minutes away...not a deal breaker but I hate SoCal traffic...

Hour 15 min drive. What's that, like 3 miles or something?

Had a guy roll one to my requested preferences at my shpo in 2003. Seem to remember his name was Pepin. Fantastic!

I have tried many custom rolled cigars wherever I find them. A lot depends on the quality of the tobacco they can get their hands on.

We did an exchange pass here about two years ago with custom rolls and specials made for a single shpo.
