I just realized that July's LCA (Limited Cigar Association) release was a Rojas Peruvian Gold. I haven't smoked it yet, but he's previously done a couple of small-batch projects with Privada/LCA, and they've been excellent. This one is "Nicaraguan Habano wrapper and fillers from Nicaragua and Peru."

It's a $12 corona gorda. Ouch, but that's typical for LCA/Privada. The Wooden Native American has free shipping for orders over $50, so that helps a little.

Thanks, Leebo. I had my eye on that but I didn’t pull the trigger. I’ve enjoyed the Peruvian tobacco that I’ve had and this one looks interesting.

My local SHPO owner suggested the ROJAS "Statement".
I liked it A LOT, so I went back and got a few more, along with a few BlueBonnets, and a Peruvian Gold.

I was late to the party, but he is definitely climbing the ladder quickly as a leading blender imo.
When space becomes available, I will be diving deeper into his portfolio.
