After winning an auction, is payment automatically taken out on ship date or how is it done

That way all the cigars you win Wednesday thru Tuesday, will ship on the following Wednesday.
You will save a LOT of money on shipping if you win mutiple auctions across different days, by going to a weekly ship option.
