I was sitting around smoking a cigar or two with my father on Independence Day this year, and I thought to myself. "I wonder how many American Themed cigars there are." while looking at the Brick House Connecticut with the red, white and Blue foot band. So I have started the journey to find as many as possible for next years Independence Day!

This is my collection thus far:
The American By JC Newman
EP Carrillo Pledge of Allegiance 2024
Delicioso Cab Sel American
CAO America Potomac
Brick House Double Connecticut
Alec Bradley Post Embargo Blend B15
Alec Bradley American Classic
Henry Clay War Hawk

My question, do any of the old'heads here have any other suggestions?

I’ve been very curious about the JC Newman The American. I have theme in my wish list at the small place but I haven’t pulled the trigger. I look forward to hearing your review on this cigar in the Whatcha Smoking Azzhats 100, 000, 00 thread.

I hope you will stick around and join in the conversation and the fun / shenanigans we have in the trades forum.

Update: I stopped by my local Cigar shop and the Manager gave me one of his Camacho Liberty 2012 Throwbacks. WOOOT. I promptly reached into my pocket and gave him my silver coin that i carry. I am going to covet this.

Not gonna lie. The cigar/tobacco pipe world has treated me well. Very friendly and very informative.

Thank you all!!

Is the Camacho actually from 2012 or is that just the name? Sounds like an awesome addition to your collection. I’ve found the brothers of the leaf to be helpful and welcoming in a hazing sort of way 😂

It is an homage released in 2019 to a well-liked release, the 2012, of this annual series. It supposedly matches the blend of tobaccos used in 2012, aged for 4 years.

Ya, the Throwback is a 2019 released. Still, I was speechless that he did that.

I've been a fan of Camacho Liberty, and have smoked most releases since the 2003 up through 2017 release. I've yet to try the 2018 thru 2024 and the 2019 Throwback. At some point I'll get around to acquiring them, but I still have multiples of prior years that will keep me stocked for at least 10-12 more Independence Day celebrations, knock on wood. Over the years, I've also enjoyed a Liberty on December 31, to celebrate my retirement (independence from work), 12/31/2013.
