AVO makes a great cigar.

AVO makes expensive cigars.

I've never had a great experience with AVO where I'm not cost averaging the experience of smoking one of their cigars. Same goes for Davidoff's too!

I did get to see Avo Uvezian laugh and light up when my girlfriend (now my wife) sat on his lap. I don't know what happened to that pic.

Now, Ashton is a different cigar altogether. I'll stick with the VSG maduro side of the house but I can enjoy a flagship natural.

Both are GREAT lines. Like you, I prefer Ashton over Avo but the latter is more reasonably priced. The VSG is one of the finest smokes I've ever had (and is priced accordingly - Damn LOL!). Cabinet Select is a close second. I know that Ashton's policy doesn't make "seconds" available. Is it the same with AVO?
