Being that Corojo is my 2nd favorite leaf, wondering if some brave soul has tried the new release from Tatuaje. If so, what are your thoughts?

Guessing that it’s a little too early but I found a place that has them on “sale” so took one for the team and ordered some. I hope the cigar god(s) are happy now.

Sounds like it would be good, just haven't tried it yet. Let us know how it goes, Conan.

Another, different, new line I want to try is the Plasencia Alma del Cielo.

Been wanting to try these. I'm a fan of almost all the Tat 7th line up so far.
As for the Cielo Imma wait for a price drop.

I dunno what it is about Plasencia’s but I haven’t, yet, found one that I would buy or buy again. Different strokes for different folks.

Have you tried any of the Alma del Whatever lines? They are a genuine step up from their other lines.

I think the natural Alma Fuerte (green band) is really good. I like the regular black band maduro, but it is super earthy, may not be to everyone's taste.

The Alma del Campo (white band) are also excellent.

The Alma del Fuego (red band) are really good but also stronger than the Fuerte natural and Campo.

I am smoking a Cosecha 149 right now. I like them, but I think the 151 is better. But neither is what I think of as special. I see no need to buy more unless there's a good sale. I feel the same way about most of the other stuff - good but unremarkable in a crowded field.

The Almas are special.

EDIT: that 149 was good. Earthy, with a richness that separates it from a lot of other cigars in the crowded field.

My 5ers of the 7th Corojo have finally finished their freezing process. As I was preparing them for their 3 month nap, noticed the cap workmanship on a few was less than stellar. Not terrible but definitely not to the quality that I normally expect out of a MF factory.
