The last 18 months have seen the price of Jose Piedra, Quintero, Raphael Gonzalez, even Partagas & RyJ smaller Cuban cigars double & supply is spotty at best. If something comes available, if you dont order in minutes to hours likely they sell out. Has this had an effect on the non cuban cigar market on cigars selling for $5 to$10? Anybody figure a way around getting fleeced & still getting product? I been smoking cigars since the 80s, Ive never seen anything like this, not even in the mid 90s.

I've been smoking Cubans since 2012, buying since 2013. No, I have not seen such drastic price increases as have occurred during the last 3-4 years, since the pandemic changed everything. I haven't bought any Cuban cigars since and am smoking them less frequently to extend my supply. OTOH, some on-line Cuban cigar vendors are offering non-Cuban cigars at very competitive prices, especially for higher end marques.

I’mma totally amazed that there are people out there that DGAF about the cost and can just order them regardless of how expen$ive they are. I hate to say it but these ridiculous prices have given me pause about smoking my small inventory of CCs and perhaps selling them on the secondary market instead. But, I’mma l-a-z-y guy and having to do the leg work to accurately inventory, research the market, set prices, “advertise”, collect payment, pack and ship makes me wanna take a nap just typing that out! 😄
