Hello All,
I just received the seasons greetings from the staff. It was a warm hearted message that excluded the small group of women that are in the cigar "brotherhood". I personally enjoy a cigar in the evenings to unwind and over the last couple of years have made it a point to educate myself on cigars enough to know a high quality cigar by sight, smell and burn. I'm not a "it's cool for women to smoke cigars" type trying to break into the boys club...I just actually enjoy a good cigar...are there others out there???

Are you saying you got a season greeting from the staff of CBid? They didn't send me no stinking seasons greeting and I bought about $700 worth of cigars from them this year. Looks like they like you women better than knarley guys like me. Santa always overlooks me too. Even my mother don't love me. Really, I'm not kidding, she won't even take a phone call from me. So you see there's worse things than feeling slighted by a poorly worded greeting card.

Okay, I feel better now.

Me too, me neither. No season's greetings from Cbid. Even my dentist sent me a card and he only made $25 from me.

got one. was kind of nice getting an email from an online retailer that wasnt trying to sell me something.

Should we feel hurt if we didn't get a greeting from the staff? Oh well, Merry Christmas to all!

I tell a lie. I think I did get the greeting you refer to. Says we are "like a band of brothers - a small fraternity". It was from CI not CBid and it went to my junk mail folder so I didn't see it till now. I guess it's true that it kinda neglects the ladies --THOSE SEXIST BAS**RDS. Just kidding, nobody get mad.
But I'm sure they're just trying to be nice.

For some reason I'm reminded of that old saying:
"A woman is only a woman but a good cigar is a smoke"
On the other hand that might not be appropriate right now so forget I mentioned it.

EFM...agreed...but must admit, but I must caviat that by saying that there's not a woman alive who doesn't have a serious man issue or two as well!
