It's two cans on CI, but it looks like one (by the description) on CB. Can anyone verify? Thanks...

You are correct. That lot is for a single cannister.

Well, gosh... then couldn't it be considered a little misleading to have TWO cans pictured???

Cigarick --- Well gosh, I guess you didn't read what it states just below every procuct picture that is up for auction ... either! It's called a disclaimer, and ...

It states ... "Image indicative of product. See description for exact detail."

I guess with some folks, you have to draw them a picture ... hehehe!

This type of false advertising really pisses me off. I had a winning bid for a 5-pack of coronas. I felt really cheated when the box of 25 belicosos shown in the picture didn't arrive. This site sucks!

Me too. Picture showed a box of churchills. Imagine my surprise when petite coronas arrived.

They usually tell you the quantity and size somewhere in the copy for the sticks, and I've seen similar wording for most accessories (two-pack, etc.), but when there are two in the picture and not a word about the count, disclaimer or not (Slimwit), that's just plain misleading--or sheer laziness.

I guess it does say "can," as opposed to "cans," but still. It's a two-pack in the CI site, and nowhere does it say "one" on CB. Oh, well--it's cheaper (per can) to buy the 2-pk on CI, which is what I'll do.

Misleading for the 'mentally challenged', I guess. I didn't have any problem understanding what it meant when it stated ... "3.04 oz. can" ...

It doesn't say "cans" ...

I guess you consider it lazy that they can't get every picture exactly right on the huge quantities of items they have up for aution on a daily basis ... like they have nothing better to do with their time.

With volume fo work they have to get done in a day, the staff at CI/CB are far from lazy ...

...go somewhere else and whine! If you had any sense, you would have taken this up with 'Customer Service' in private correspondence in the first place ... and not had them search out one of your complaints on the forums.

Rock on Slim!

People just take the time to read the lot descriptions in full. Again the image is a REPRESENTATION of the product, read the description along with the header above the image.
JUST READ PEOPLE.

So by that rationale, the girls who are near the non-existent cars are not indicitive of what you really get in life.
Am I on the wrong board again...?

Wrong board, but right idea ...

I've never thought that the women in lingerie ads for the department store would come with the lingerie if I were to go and buy some ... so I'm never suprised when I bid on a 5-pack and don't get the entire box that was shown in the picture ... it SAYS 5-pack in the lot description ... also, I'm smart enough to know, they don't show pics of every single size in every line ... they show pics of a representative cigar in that particular line ...

Plus, if you consider that bidding for a 3.04oz can often goes higher even without the s/h costs than the price in a local store, (DON'T start on me about over-bidding being a dead horse ... that's NOT what I'm saying), one sees very readily the accuracy of Slim's statment about some bidders being cognitive-challenged.
