How many of those protestors are truly informed?
Anybody that calls this an "Oil War" is uniformed and simplistic. Perhaps even incapable of grasping the totality of the situation.
Those that are true pacifists also need to look at history, and other "necessary" wars.
If these people feel we can end this without force, why do you suppose Iraq has ignored UN instructions for cease fire since the Gulf war ended over 10 years ago?
I've yet to hear even one explanation.

These people mostly, but not all, are probably the same losers, you will see, on what ever the next protest happens to be. It doesnt matter what the topic is!

I looked at all 31 of the US shots. Out of them there were 3 American Flags waving. Real patriotic demonstations arent they? Losers!!!

Rick I dont expect to see EVERYONE holding flags. But I sure would have expected a few in each shot! You showed pictures of THOUSANDS of people!

I've been to a protest in Sacramento at the Capitol Building. It was protesting against the change of the fuel to add MTBE. It was organized by KSFO radio. This station has "conservative" values. There were about 5,000 to 7,500 of us. I closed my business so my wife and I could go.

We were at the steps of the capitol building and the surrounding grounds. Not any profanity, no hippy types, no bare footed or bare chested freaks. In fact you would have been surprised how many people were business men and women in suits, small business owners like myself and other people who actually had jobs and took off work to be there.

There were american flags EVERYWHERE! We were protesting against governments decisions in this matter, but we didnt look like we hated our government or our country. None of that.

Look at the protests you see on the news. It really doesnt matter what the protest is about. When liberals have a one, you will without exception always see the freaks come out!

Rick admit it. Your political views are shared with a lot of people that have no class at all in how they protest. Not everybody of course, but enough that it is definetly noticed easily! Its a chance for people to act like freaks, and pretend its the sixties!

i guess you guys are correct. these people all over the world are a bunch of "losers", "freaks", "no class", while your guys are business men and women in suits"

not to mention your statistics
"You are out numbered about 2 to 1 by the polls taken after Colin Powell's speach". i think that changed when it turned out powell was given BS info by the administration and was outed. if powell had any class, he would have resigned a long time ago.

"70% of Americans support our Military and the actions they are about to undertake" of course everyone will support the kids that are going to iraq to fight and possibbly get killed.

i think the point of it is don't send people to die for a BS war supported by a few chickenhawks.

What are we to wait... don't do anything, and let the terrorism really pick up in America Rick?? lets just sit back and see... see what these Terrorists will do next... as long as it doesn't effect you personally then they really haven't done anything wrong.. Right Rick??

this Administration and all these Chickenhawks are trying to keep anything more from Happening to the American People... and I guess I'm a chickenhawk also...
You just close your eye's and dream about how nice it could be in La La Land!!!!

I will admit I am uninformed and simplistic. I think this war is being proactive. Solving the problem before it happens that being not allowing Iraq certain weapons.

Now Ric it seems to me that you are in the thinking that this is a war about oil and not weapons. Please educate me your reasons and facts. Why is this a war about oil?

Ricks (and others) view on the tragic events of 9/11: Bush didn't do enough to prevent it.

Ricks view on the proactive stance against Iraq: Bush should wait until Iraq does something rash.

Rick, it seems your view is anti-Bush regardless of the situation. Too bad, it makes some of your otherwise valid points totally meaningless.
Stick to cigars, your objectivity is refreshing on that subject.

Proving that you CAN'T have it both ways!

Either he's not doing enough, or he's doing too much, I love the back-peddling!

It's gonna be great when all of the "rich" liberals lose their ass with this "new" talk-radio idea of their's! America didn't want Hightower,Donahue,Cuomo,or Carvelle what makes them think we want to hear Franken?

I can see the title of Rush's next book..."Al Franken Is A Big-mouthed Poor Moron"

1. sadam whatever has not done anything in the last 10 years to demonstrate any intentions of starting trouble.

2. korea has nuclear weapons and possibly the capability of delivering them. and their leader, president, or whatever they call him has said he intends to use these weapons.

in a bar fight, you hit the closest most dangerous first, and then, hopefully, the rest back off.

the question becomes why iraq first? or at all.

they have oil.
