Just read your link Homebrew. I think the Libertatrians are begging the question. They are kind of off point. For instance: India and Pakistan have weapons of mass destruction. BUT they are not likely to sponser terrorists in the near future.

Why don't you say that this "war" is about sand or burkas or some other dumb remark. I've NEVER heard anyone say that this is about oil! This is about disposing a thug that nobody else dares take down. Just like Slobodan Milosevic, no one came to the aid of that country, and without the US they'd STILL be carving each other up!

No, this is really about a form of government that you don't agree with and you'll do ANYTHING to discredit what they're doing!

If the war were about ridding the world of an international threat who refuses to abide by UN resolutions, then it is tougher to oppose the Bush agenda.

Saying this war is about oil makes a little more sense than saying WWII was about beer and saurkraut, but only because some Americans don't like kraut. We could've taken the oil last time around if that's all there was. Even if Bush is overdoing it a little (or a lot), it would be a shame to allow Hussein to continue murdering, raping, and mutilating his citizens and the Kurds, and you know he has plans for his neighbors and Israel. He really should be ousted and if we don't do it, no one will. After he dies, his sons are even worse devils.

I will forgive you this time only for the simple fact that your name ends in ski....If this is your real last name? As far as my given name ending in ski...I am very proud of the fact that I am of a German Polish heritage and able to live in the United States with all the freedom that I have. I am also proud of our President for taking the stand he is taking. This should have been done along time ago. We just now finally got a man in office with the b@lls to do something about it. Wonder what you would do in his situation?? Be humorous??? We have had the greatest attack on American soil in history. Many innocent, underserving people lost their lives. Instead of sitting back and throwing stick and stones, enlist your A$$ and make a difference!! As for me, I tried and I am too damn old. So, I am proudly backing my husband and all the rest of the men and women who are willing to sacrafice their lives and praying everyday that they all will come home safe to their families and friends to enjoy the rest of their FREE lives here in America!! Why doesn't someone read the article Rick posted before they start talking $hit. GWB is going to cut Impact Aid, which gives aid to school districts around large military installations in order to make up for the drastically lowered tax collections since the military doesn't contribute tax dollars. But since no one gives a f*ck about educating our servicemen and servicewomen's children just keep arguing... all very "humorous"...
