Does anybody have a good recommendation about a good cheap everyday smoke. I either chew up, ruin, spit out, lay down and forget when doing yardwork, messing in my shop or otherwise not relaxing.
Cheap means $0.50 to $1.00 each.
Thanks

Fuggitaboutit. Doesn't exist. Get to the $2.00 price point, then maybe . . .

Check out the BROCATUS line on cbid.
You can get them for less than $1 a stick if you're patient.
I think I may have a couple layin' around if you want them.

I don't know about a buck a stick, but IMHO the 5 Vegas (red label) is a fantastic smoke for the money.

Pirates Gold Maduro's aren't bad for sub $1/each.

The natural's are pretty nasty though, stick to the maduros in the PG's.

that's a tough one.

I'd say look for seconds on CBid.

I have a bunch that I am looking to unload. I may be the only one, but I have a tendency to just bid on anything I want to try. : ) As a result I have really cramped storage space and I need to make room for the ones that I have coming this week.

Look at the "trades" post for the post from my name (PtRd) for every day smokes (its a different post from the box pass) or drop me an email: papaherfat gmail.

Fire by Indian Tabac (blended by Rocky Patel). I prefer the toro. But the double corona seems to appear more often. Bundles of 15 regularly go for $10.00. A better smoke then a lot of $2/$3 cigars.

Nestor Reserve Box-Pressed Maduro Torpedo. I picked up my last bundle of 25 for less than a dollar a stick. C.I. claims the cigar got a rating of 93.

Both are excellent cigars for the money.

Don Elias, $14-$17 for a box of 25 here on CBid.

Even at CI, 50 is only $44.95-$49.95, a buck or less a pop.

btw, if you want an excellent smoke for around $2/piece, try the 5 Vegas Limitada 06, or the Pueblo Dominicano Series II. They were about $46 and $58 respectively.

(just keep in mind that new versions are due out anytime now, a rush to the old version could happen.)

I am stocked up so I will give away the secret--Horsepower (under samplers) by Rocky Patel. If you are patient you can get them for a buck a stick here. The sampler ranges from mild to strong. I like all of them.

However, they need a year's storage to show their stuff.

Another stick that also needs a year but is a steal at under a buck a stick are the El Creditos available here. I have yet to have a bad one.

Ditto the puros indio, fits my taste. The Roly is a puros indio second, while they look a little rough with a little time in the humi they smoke great.

OK, you guys got me convinced, there is no such thing as a good cheap cigar since 1950. I guess cheap is now about #2-3.00 per stick. Recommandation please

I also am a fan of the IT Fire Corojo. I recently got the double coronas 7X49 for .66 each.

not sure about the exact price point, but Tierra del Sol by Perdomo is a good not-too-expensive cigar

El Mejor Expresso: Just let them sit for 6-12 months first.

Cuban Parejos: Let them rest for 6-12 months

Legends Purple (Graycliff): They start coming on after about 3 months.

Padilla Achilles: I let mine rest for 3 months before I tried one.

5 Vegas "A": Better with some rest, but OK OTT.
