I am curious if anyone else has had similar encounters as I had in the past. A few months ago I sat down after dinner to have a Joya De Nicaragua Council, excellent cigar by the way, and right off noticed these weird taste, terrible mind you. I looked at the head then and saw what I thought was a large stick sticking out a bit. I pulled on it, and lo and behold I pulled out this piece of string! That you might be able to explain, but another time I was enjoying another cigar, I forget the brand when suddenly it felt like I was smoking asbestos. I cut the cigar in half and found a large ball of cotton! It made me wonder what goes on in some of these factories.

The strings and similar I've heard of before but not the cotton. I've usually heard explanations concerning the products used to hold the bales and hands of tobacco leaves together before rolling.

Hmmm. Strings and cotton in his cigars. I wonder if he was smoking one of Bill Clinton's "used" stogies!
