A buddy of mine recently went on an extended business trip to Portugal and Spain. He brought back some ISOM's from his trip. Being unsure of how to get them back, he made sure he bought tubed cigars so they wouldn't get damaged in transit. I just got them in the mail.

He said if they are good, he'll get me more on his next trip. He went with one of his clients and had him pick them out...not being much of a cigar buff himself. I think he did well.

I would say so, that is what I did on my last trip. I bought tubes also. That bolivar is one tastey cigar 🙂

very nice Rayder... I have a punch tubo that was gifted as well with 12yrs age on it. I'm waiting till my sister's wedding to smoke it.

Those Tubes are Tops!

I am tempted to fire one up but I think I will give them some time in the humidor

Quick question and not meant to threadjack- should one store such tubes 1) with the cap on 2) with the cap off exposing the foot 3) without the cigar in the tube or 4) any variation of the above???

I just take them out of the tube and store them in the humidor. When I want to take one with me, I'll put it back in tube. If the tube has a cedar lining, I will store the tube in the humidor with the cigar inside and the cap off.
That's just me, there's other opinions I am sure.
