Infrastructure is an occasional discussion on many channels both the left and the right, but seeing a few bridges coming apart and foundations crumbling and the ages of the Brooklyn bridge over 100 years old, he George Washington bridge new York over 50 years old, and the discussion by the engineers that these were not built to last 50 years without constant maintenance, health care, union rights, who kills gadaffi, and the national debt makes me aware once again how poorly this country is run.
we are physically falling apart. we have old roads that look like a third world country road, and we are still dicking around with Amtrak, while other industrial nations have speedy rail transportation.
is it the two party system that exploits the other party, or is it the supreme that gave corporation the right to buy congressman and senators to decrease taxes for business and waste money building second engines for airplanes that the military doesn't need or even want.
we need to get our country in order, and cutting funding for NPR, isn't important enough to waste time talking about.
catholics are the nations largest religious group and 70% of catholics don't give a damn if two guy or two girls get married and other then some of the hierarchy of the church, the guys that didn't throw out the pedophiles, most catholics don't care one way or the other about birth control or abortion.
I think people would like to drive to work over a bridge that doesn;t have holes in it so you can seethe water through the roadway or carry a hammer so they can smash out a window if thye bridge collapses and the car ends up in the water.
Ummm...didn't Idi Amin Jr. just spend some $800 billion dollars on "infrastructure" in 2009? Remember, Rick, Bush is not President any more...your master expects you to stop griping and tow the line.
