Looks great u filled that up nicely. I'm ready for a cabinet but haven't decided if I wanted to try and build one or just buy one.

Heheh... I'm fine. I have more than enough here for me and my 2 friends that like cigars.

And I just won 4 or 5 bids last week, so I have another 40 or so coming.

I'll need to come up with some label system for the drawers. Perdomo, Camacho, Gurkha, Padilla, 5 Vegas, etc...

Oh, in the first My Verona post, there is also another humidor by the window that is just about full.

...but thanks for your concern. Herfing

Now that I have this one, it does seem kinda small.

Anxious

Maybe that will help me keep the frivolous bids in check!

So... not a lot of posts lately in this thread (the Cigar Related) but, I see...

Tonight I had a Chimay Grand Reserve (Blue label). Then I grabbed a Perdomo Reserve Grande 10th Anniversary and a Maredsous Brun Ale out on the patio.

An awesome combination.

Cigars in a well humidified humidor are ... awesome. Especially a Perdomo whatever . . ..

Herfing

Edit: I'm trying to remember... and what I tell all my friends... I don't recall ever smoking a bad Perdomo!

Someone said the cigars are photoshopped in. Is that true?

bs_kwaj - do those drawers have any holes for ventilation? I've been scoping out this cabinet and can't see in any of the photos.

Yes, the drawers and the 4 loose shelves are all slotted. You can just make out the slots in the bottom drawer on the left.

I was just spying out the one on cbid now. Not looking to bid on it or anything. Anyway, $250 to ship! Yikes!!! That seems a bit expensive even for a unit of that size.

Thanks! Debating on buying a cabinet and retiring a few coolers or waiting till we buy a house and trying to do a walk-in.

Dang it...

Friday night. Stuck in the house. They just started flying over spraying insecticide for West Nile virus mosquitoes in Richardson, TX!

Had to cover up the Koi pond. I read that the insecticide will kill fish too. Of course, when I bought the house, I had the previous owners remove their goldfish. But, as Jeff Goldblum said in Jurassic Park, Life will find a way. About 3 weeks ago I discovered I have 5 or 8 new little gold fish zooming around!

Supposed to rain tomorrow!

d'oh!

Well, this sucks. Heard the plane flyer over a couple of times abut 30 minutes ago... now I'm hearing thunder!! They'll be back!!

One more question - how many sticks do you think actually fit in the drawers and the overall capacity? We're moving into a new condo and there is no space to put my coolers that are accessible...

Of course, it depends on the size of the cigars and also not filling them up so much that they cut off the air circulation.

But, without actually counting them out, it looks like 20 or 30 per pull out drawer and maybe 50 or so in the 4 loose drawers. And then there is extra shelf space beyond that.

I think it is advertized at a 1,000 capacity... but that is never very accurate.

Thanks! I'm investigating cabinets and also thinking about a wineador, but the cost is crazy! I have approx 1,200 smokes so I'm concerned about starting off full! Appreciate your help!

Interesting, sometimes the images are small and clicking on them presents a larger view. Sometimes they are already full size.
