So... a dude who never went to college has posted a rant about how dumb colleges have become (from the time when he didn't go, I'm guessing?) and that's given a hearty "I agree" from two dudes who I'm guessing also never went.

There is something kind of funny about that.

Post of the year, one of those guys wouldn't know what the inside of a college classroom looked like if it fell on his head.

Morons!

Did not have to use the degree, that was just a common sense call.

And college remains over rated, over priced and over prized.
It allows the monied to purchase a white color position for their not so bright offspring and burdens the gifted with a mortgage payment for their education.

As an Engineer who finished in the eighties, I have seen bright and stupid both, with full on accreditation from the best of schools.

Colleges are about making money.
Occasionally, for the students as well....

I heard that Prager University was more expensive per minute than Panhandle State University (where they actually have sports).

Colleges are the poster child for good intentions going bad. While education is funimatally good a needed, it quickly turns into a buisness opertunity to be exploited - in the name of higher education.

Sometimes capitalism really needs a bridle....

But don't public schools get in the way of job creation? Strangling industry with inefficient big government?
And while we are at it, shouldn't all education be a pay as you go buisness? Think of all those liberal free loaders who suck the govmut teet in grade school, high school, as though they are OWED an education!!

.....sorry, I was channeling Teddy again.....

Found out this afternoon that that guy is in critical condition in the hospital and under surgery for a second time after he got hit by a truck.

Rumor is that required homework is cutting into activism time.

I wonder if this applies in free zones?

I took day off work to do homework but all I can find myself doing is playing clash of clans and bidding on cigars. #murica
