I just saw the complete uncensored video.

It was pretty grusome.

I am sitting here shaking after seeing it and am sick to my stomach. I have seen pretty awful things in the past but hearing the screaming and gurgling and everything else is horrific.

We need to roll into these areas where the insurgents are and destroy what ever stands in the way.

Where's the outrage from Senator Kerry? Senator Clinton? Senator Byrd? Senator Kennedy? The outrage that exuded after airing of the pictures of how we "abused" the terrorists in our custody? Vs. the true atrocities committed by these Muslim terrorists? What’s wrong with this picture? When we hear cries of outrage over our inhumanity and silence over the brutality of these sub-humans? I say take a tiny Tim approach… Kill them all, every one. I say we take out some of their leaders like that Mooktada guy and then when they’re carrying his coffin through the streets in sack cloth and ashes, chanting death to America and vowing their revenge, we drop a fricken daisy cutter right in the middle of their little procession… And keep doing it until they get the message…

Some people in my office wanted to see it. They are equally disgusted.

The imagery, the audio will be with me for a long time to come. I won't go into detail, buy you can use your imagination.

As for the lack of outcry from the left. Who knows. Maybe because it would show unity toward the Bush administration. Screaming about nekked Iraqi's and their "abuse" is a way for them to show negativity toward Bush.

billreif, I usually don't get involved in political discussions, either, but to suggest that we tuck our tails and run in the face of this monstrous brutality is absolutely wrong and has already been proven a strategic failure. Remember Mogadishu?

Secondly, in response to your comment that "they all hate us,"we didn't go into Iraq or Afghanistan to win a popularity contest and they don't ALL hate us.

My best friend is in Baghdad as I write this. I heard from him this morning. We're doing good things there and the vast majority of the population appreciates what we're doing for them.

The terrorist thugs who killed Nick Berg hate us and that's who we're fighting. You want them to win?

Nick Berg's death is a tragedy, but keep in mind he was there voluntarily. He went as an independent contractor under his own free will. He wasn't forced to go.

The Left and the Liberal press must have used up all the good adjectives that were their myopic, one-sided little brains when describing the "atrocities" like putting a dog-collar on a captive terrorist. Notice how all the news reports on the decaptitation (the sound of which will stick with me a lot longer than the low quality, amateurish video) are neutral and unbiased presentations of the facts?

Now, you are probably reading the Koran like a snake swinger reads the New Testiment, so don't take such a literal approach to the document. Unless you are a well-versed reader, foreign religious literature is probably something you should stay away from as it is very hard to comprehend. Their religion actually denounces violence, so what you seeing is religious psychopaths murdering, not in the name of religion, but for their own deep-rooted evils.

You have hit one VERY GOOD issue with the way we have treated their prisoners: Jessica Lynch
I believe what was happening at the prison was wrong, but correct me if I (and cigarsmokin) are wrong, but didn't a bullet riddled and broken Jessica Lynch get sexually abused/raped while in captivity? I would even go so far as to say they probably were keeping her alive to rape her repeatedly. Forget that the private is a woman for a moment.....did they not sexually assault our soldier repeatedly? I do believe this may fall under the realm of hypocracy.....shame on us? SHAME ON THEM TOO!

This is the original, and still best, no-win situation. They would kill you, your parents, your children and your grandchildren, if they could get at them. They are on a mission to exterminate us. There are some great opinions on this string. Especially Robby's and scottbodman. IMHO, I believe that how our Army guards treated the Iraqi inmates was wrong...BUT I have to say that too much emphasis is being placed on that particular incident(s), when you think about the numerous atrocities committed on Americans by these sick, coldhearted murderers, aka terrorists. It makes me sick to my stomach that very little is said (in the media) when Americans are slain by terrorist, along the lines of asking for an apology, or seeking investigations. But God forbid a few photos of Iraqi prisoners are released and all of the sudden people (Americans) are uphauled and demanding our SecDef step down. Again, I have to state for the record, that our actions against the prisoners is wrong, but my point is that it really pales in comparison to how we're getting bent over by the terrorist. (I'll get off my soap box now).

If anybody else wants to bear witness to this horrific event let me know. Just be forwarned it is extremely graffic. The audio alone is blood curdling.

I hope those that have seen the video or will in the future will now see the sub-humans we are dealing with.

Parading around nude Iraqi's does not compare to what this young man went thru.

I have seen the video. That is why I was so up in the air about it. It is the most horrific thing I have ever seen. Cowards hiding behind masks, spouting their trash and then sawing a man's head off in the name of God. They didn't behead him in the sense most people are thinking. They cut his head off, in slow torture, with a knife. Yes, it's horrible to think of; worse to watch. But it brings home the true nature of our enemy, their attitude towards us, and the total lack of respect and moral decency they exhibit.

We are so obsessed with making sure every picture of the naked prisoners gets released, but you have to research hard to find the execution video of Nick Berg. Because it's too awful to look at. But apparently our so-called "abuse and torture" of Iraqi prisoners must not be so bad by comparison.

And that is why I am so NOT worried about a few of them parading around with women's panties on their heads. Goodness knows, we'll make damned sure we turn 'em all loose, give them a sack of cash and invite them over here to start a hotel or C-store. Instead, all of our resources and efforts should be expended on finding the pig-dogs that have been executing our citizens.

Don't want the video - already have enough things that keep me up at night. Is the media making too much of a few poorly trained MPs screwing up? Yeah. But that is what makes us different that the terrorist who killed Mr. Berg. When we find dirty shorts at the bottom of our clothes hamper, we pull them out, hold them up to the light, let everyone see them and then proceed to wash them so we don't have anymore dirty shorts. Americans are different than anyone else on the planet. We examine our mistakes (in public), we take responsiblity for our errors. We don't whitewash it or cover it up. It's what makes us the leader of the world. Politicians (Dems and Reps) will always exploit these types of issues for short term political gain. What makes us special is, as a nation, we don't pay much attention to the politicians or the media in such matters. We make up our own minds.

IMHO the reason there is such a media storm over the MPs and little coverage of the Berg murder is that we are shocked that our troops could do the things they did, but not shocked at all by the brutality and savage nature of people who kill their own children in the name of Allah!
