Reckless for the Padilla Crianza double toro. This thing was just great until the last quarter where it turned into a snickers bar, yum

Reckless for the nub Cammie. I'm giving it another shot to see if I just burned the first one too fast because they are enjoyable just too short together hot early

I felt like the #1s were more earthy and the #2s were peppery.

#1113 A Camacho Triple Maduro thanks to Ndill, Nathan sent me (extended trade) with each labeled 06/11, opened the first one to find little white specks that glittered all over the cigar, proceeded to carefully notch cut and fire up the stick, Strength has mellowed a bit revealing more expresso and mocha/chocolate goodness. Made for an excellent smoke, Thank You Nathan

I smoked the other from the krazy korean. Maybe these were too young? Smoked fine but the pepper had my eyes watering. For the first inch it's just overwhelming. After that it starts to smooth out to a creamy oily flavor that I love, but the burn on retrohale was just too intense, yet without it, I couldn't pick up on the flavors I liked... With how much everyone seems to like these, I really hope it's just an age thing and they needed to sleep a while longer. The PTR was wonderful, and I had a Tat corona a while ago, don't recall what it was or from where it came but it too was a wonderful smoke. Both had the creamy oily flavor and mouthfeel that I love and just the right amount of strength. But the PCRs I've had so far did not fit the bill. I have one left from you, I'm going to just let that one nap a while.

Erjaq for the camacho 08/22. I picked up the 05/07 and figured this would be in the same profile. It may be because this one has some age but I found it much more mellow. It's powerful but not overwhelming like the 05/07 I had. I handed some out but the rest are napping.

Was really enjoying a La Duena Petit Lancero gifedt by the mad Hawaiian Bomber. Was watching some hockey at the local pub while remembering my brother's passing 5yrs ago today, stepping outside for the occasional puff or two, or three. Some freaking azzhole stole my cigar AGAIN from a what I thought was a hidden spot. I started smoking cigars 5yrs ago after inheriting my brother's humidor. And today of all days I have one stolen while smoking in front of the local pub. A bummer of a day as it is, but now I'm really freakin pissed.

Many thanks Palama! Enjoyd the 1st third of it anyway! Fuggin azzholes!!!

Just lit up a gift from TMCTLT a La Herencia Cubana, Oscuro Fuerte. I must say the first draw was a surprise, kind of a pink candy like...hold on I left my bubble gum in...Seriously I am not good enough at tasting all the nuances yet, but there is a likely hood that this is a full bodied cigar. Seems to be launching flavor at me like a shotgun blast. A bit peppery and a bit refined at the same time. Thanks TMC for the extra goodies, it makes the heart feel good while I sit thousands of miles away from family and friends. As it gets past the first inch, it seems to be leaning toward leather and pepper still. I am waiting for a slap in the face with a stiletto heel. Tons of good smoke and it is calming down a little or the taste buds have been burned out. Looks like it will be an hour smoke, just great to watch the last of the daylight disappear into a quiet darkeness only interrupted by the chirping of crickets, and the drone of Caliveras jumping frogs. I am having it with a cup of Lapsang Souchun tea. it is a smoky Chinese tea that I have enjoyed since I was a kid and it compliments cigars well.

OOh yea this is mellowing out well, hats off TMCTLT for the extra surprises.Applause

This place is dead. We should be filled to capacity, I have a bad feeling about this summer, but it will give me plenty of time to smoke cigars with no crowd to entertain.

I finally burned a Tatuaje Jason 2013. Excellent smoke. I won it in the Golf tournament a month or so ago. I let it rest and could not wait any longer. I am glad I have a box of these, I am very happy with it. Started going out constantly at just past the half way mark, but it lasted over 1 hour and 20 minutes, and would have gone farther but I gave up on it during the last third because, well, it is bedtime. Herfing

Thanks again to our Golf Tournament host!

La Riqueza No.4 box-press 5"x48 thanks to DD1700. This thing was awesome. I lit it up not knowing a thing in the world about it; not even familiar with the the La Riqueza brand. I noticed that the appearance was top-notch before I lit it, but that was it. After smoking it for a while, I decided I needed to do some research on that bad boy. Turn out it is a collaboration between Pete Johnson & Don Pepin Garcia, and is described as a departure from the full-bodied Tatuaje formula. They are a full-flavored, medium-bodied smoke, that increases only slightly in strength, and are Nicaraguan puros. Awesome!

Dharbolt for the MUWAT 760. Realized I had a bunch of smokes from earlier attacks that haven't been touched. I reached into the cooler and dug until my hands decided to be cautious not to rip a wrapper and BAM in lands on a bigun
