65136 - Cuban Parejo Rothschild by Perdomo

I get black coffee and cedar from this stick. Started out pairing it with a cup of coffee, but needed some sweetness on my palate to give some contrast to the cigar. Switched to a pour of Old Forester 100, helped a lot fill in the gaps and bring out some more complexity and spice. An enjoyable everyday smoke.

Cheers, Snyd! Already starting to redeem my impressions of Perdomo.

#65,147 - 601 Black Label(?)

Got this from a trade with Belue back in 2016 but I could never figure out which one of the 601 cigars this one was. Has a black & gold label but doesn't say "Black" anywhere.

^ Espinosa's version of a full flavored connie. Was in and out of limited production for a few years but was supposed to have a wider release last year. Only seen it in 601 sampler packs myself. Got one from somebody somewhere and thought it was pretty good

Glad you enjoyed it Jake. These have quickly become my go to stick, especially since I found that great deal. Probably going to pick up another box while they're at that price.. hard to beat.

If it starts with a 't' it's a torpedo. If it starts with 'b' it's a belicoso.

LOL
I'm pretty sure torpedo's are pointy at the tip while a belicoso will be more rounded on the end.

Edit: cbid post about this http://www.cigarbid.com/...3491/Belicoso-Vs-Torpedo

Are these the sticks that were just released on Friday? Haven’t had a chance to pick some up yet.
