Purty good smoke, but wish it didn't falsely advertise itself as a Jamaican cigar. I hear they have been growing in the DR since Hurricane Gilbert hit Jamaica.

The No. 7 Petit Lancero? If so, I think it’s the best vitola in the line.

Not a $15 smoke IMHO, but a good smoke. BUT when found in the discount bin for a 3rd of the price it becomes the best budget smoke I’ve had all year!

76977 - EZ Blending Sessions corona extra from Stogie. Man, that was fantastic! Thank you. The best EZ I've had in a while. I'm sorry yours sucked Jeff.

I smoked it earlier in the day, thinking it might help if the cigar was mild, but it was fine. Solid medium body. And delicious. Surely, that had to have become a regular blend. I wish I knew which one.

Well since you mentioned it, I commented to my wife about that number and how it just might be "lucky"
She looked at me, laughed, guess its not so lucky after all.

Glad you liked it, Lee. The problem with theblending sessions smokes was that if you really liked one, you had no idea how to get ahold of it again!

I usually buy these in 5 or 10 packs online, and they always arrive without a band. I just realized all the cab pictures online show them with a brown band, although the halfwheel review picture from 2010 (pre-release) shows no band... You ever see them without the band retail?

I wonder what I have been smoking?

Perhaps you’ve been buying the Petite Tatuaje or Petite Tatuaje Reserva and not the Petit Cazadores Reserva?

I think the shpo I have bought them from is as confused by the naming as I am... You are probably right, as I don't believe the ones I have received have had a closed foot (and are likely closer to 32 ring guage than 40)...

The other way to confirm is to just measure them. The Petite Tatuajes are 4-1/2” while the PCR is 4”. And the PTs feel more like a cigarette than a cigar (…at least to me…).

I will check when I get home but I am pretty sure you are right and I have the petites. I messaged the vendor and they said they would swap them out for me.

I emailed with the online place I ordered the 5 and ten packs of PCR from (several times in fact) and they owned up to sending the wrong cigars. They offered to replace the ones I have with the correct vitola. I guess now I need to go back and edit EVERY post I made in the "what are ou smoking" thread where i thought I was smoking a PCR but was really smoking a Petite...

I should just buy a cab of them... (assuming I actually like them).

I did get some Reserva 7ths to try, so maybe that is a better option for me.
