I'm thinking that they are still blaming it on the BP Crisis in the gulf. Since they leaked so much oil the world supply has to suffer.

I'm to the point of looking for a cheap beater car, or possibly a cycle to get me through the summer. Since my truck uses gas as fast as I drink my beer, and I'm not letting up on the beer drinking.

What crises? Obama and his radical environmentalist buds are happier then a pig in chit. Hell, they're hoping it goes to $10 a gallon.

Remove all domestic drilling restrictions now, and watch oil drop to $40 a barrel in 6 months. But, never going to happen under this administration.

surely you jest? The worst estimates put it around 40,000 barrels per day, in contrast the USA consumes 18,868,000 barrels per day. Not really even a factor IMO. i think that is .002% of our daily consumption leaking per day.

Not when, but how he will address the gas crisis is what I'm concerned about. Will he use this crisis to promote ethanol, electric cars, green technologies, cap and trade? Or will he man up and allow the American oil companies do their thing and produce more of our own energy here at home and reduce our dependance on foreign oil?

Per dear leaders press conference yesterday. In his sharp economic mind the rise in price is due to the economic upturn and the higher demand for oil because things are so good.

Dellusional spin is second nature to this idiot.

Boycott fuel for 2 days per week nationwide. We're told that the economy is on an upswing and that is the cause of the higher prices? I want some of what he's smoking. With fuel prices on the rise again, I foresee many family vacations being canceled this season and a yo yo effect taking place with the economy as a whole.

You can't boycott fuel for two days. You have to not use fuel for two days.

This will bring Obama and Big Oil to their knees.

He will do whatever he can to make the economy look as good as possible, thereby strengthening his upcoming re-election bid. Whether he wins will be dependant on the state of the economy.

Have one no fly day per month and Bingo no more shortages. Besides we'll have so much oil flowing from the mid west soon it won't matter what happens elswhere. This is the Main reason for Radical Islams burst right now. 2 Years from now they are nothing..

There is enough oil in the midwest to supply the USA for 400 years. 50 cent gasoline is on the way!

we need greener technology. fossil fuel is just that. a fossil they dont make more of. we need to look to the future and greener alternatives. look at germany. tons of diesels (why is diesel so high in the US? it costs 40% less to manufacture, i know big trucks cause more wear/tera on the roads but let consumers buy diesel for cars and light trucks at a reasonable price, ie less than gas) and every interstate is lined with solar panels and they give you a credit for letting the utility co put solar panels on your house or building!

that is the worst idea. do you really think selfish americans are not going to travel or work for 2 days? IF IF you could even come close to slowing fuel purchases for two days, all it would result in is more fill ups on the day before and the day after your "strike" people need some kind of fuel in the US, we are too spread out here and there is no public transport option in nearly all areas.

The planned parenthood won't help, because nobody will be able to afford to go there because gas will be too high because Odumbdumb won't do anything because he's dumb so everybody will stay at home and because they'll get bored, they will just screw all the time and there will be a population explosion. Why? Because!

If we boycott fuel for 2 two days then on day 3 you will wake up to gas prices at $10 a gallon in order for them to make up the difference. And gas prices dont drop as fast as they rise so it would stay at $10 a gallon for about 6 months... until it drops to $8 to make gas "cheap" again.

End the drilling moratorium and gas will tumble close to a buck with the speculators jumping out.

The Kenyan King is the reason why fuel prices are soaring.

He doesn't know what he's doing because he's NEVER actually worked at doing anything except being a "community organizer"!

America voted for change. The Kenyan King TOLD you he was going to fundamentally change America.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvJJP9AYgqU

Vote this assbag out and all of his party too!

They've been consistently Anti-American with their trade policies, their Green policies, their PC bull****, their Global Warming scam and in bed with almost every major union in the US advancing poor work ethics and higher prices that HAVE to be passed on to the consumer.

END THE INSANITY!

Kick THEM to the curb!

2010 was the first round...let's FINISH the job!

Without a viable and available substitute for the combustion engine, which we obviously do not have yet, we need petroleum. What I'm suggesting is taping our own sources to reduce our dependance on foreign petroleum. All the feel good green technology B.S. is just that right now, when it comes down to this issue.

So when's Obummer gonna address the gas crises?

That would be never, unless he's forced to by some folks under him who don't want to be a one-term wonder, like he is obviously going to be.

He only wants automobiles and the ability to travel for the elite few who run this. For the rest, he wants little self-sufficient hamlets where folks don't get too far from home. You can go as far as your electric M&M peanut car will take you. Charge it up every third Thursday before the rolling black-out comes through (because we can't have coal or nuclear power) and you can go anywhere 100 miles takes you for the next 3 weeks.

Now you shut up and go back to being a good little world citizen. Quit asking so many questions.

Speak to the hand

This was from yesterday.

This was from 1977...

Notice the similarities? Reading from the same playbook?

What a joke.

We've had well over 25 years to implement Solar, Wind and Tesla Coil technologies and have done virtually NOTHING! Nations around the globe are harnessing the power so I don't want to hear it can't be done. The problem is that we reward corporations for poor behavior with subsidies. We regulate from DC with impunity and stifle the free markets.

Yeah, this jackwagon is a one termer. I think people writing in Mickey Mouse at this point might even garner more votes.

Nuclear is dead. We're going to go to 50% ethanol instead to keep gas under $5 a gallon.

We were going to go with baseline nuclear generation and electric cars.
