, the kid is 25. i know for a fact he checked into a depression clinic because he had it on his facebook and was bragging about how he was enjoying kicking back on the government dime.

I hope you are self employed cuz you've been complaining on the company dime a loooong time (counting reading responses). Kinda kidding, kinda not.

Not attacking you, I understand how stuff real close in proximity gets us all worked up, but this stuff is a drop in the bucket and smacks of typical workplace gossip and speculation. Much bigger wastes elsewhere. Seriously, your boss is paying for your typing time. Give him/her his/her moneys worth. There'd be that much less work for the kid's coworkers to make up.

Huh? If this is in response to my post immediately before yours, I didn't get what you are referring to...

frankj1,

the nature of my job is very busy or dead. As long as i complete my jobs, i am free to do what i want in my spare time. Some nights i work late or have to come in early. You dont know what days or what schedule i have either.

you are correct, that's why I was "kinda kidding". My employment situation is similar to yours time wise. Shouldn't have singled you out, but I did use your situation for something I had been thinking.
