We're not nor have we claimed to be. The only statistic one needs to look at is which party African Americans identify with the most to figure out who has the better perspective on the issue of race. It's really that simple.

My original comment within this thread was intended to show my distaste for Michelle Obama.
With a theatrical twist.

If you'd prefer my comments remain somewhat civilized, then I would state in mixed company (that's ladies and guys, not referencing color or race in any way) that I am embarassed by our first lady.

I didn't tell YOU that YOUR comments were at least partly because she's black. You didn't "agree" with me when you facetiously say "apparently...because she's African American".

Some people are partly motivated by race. You acknowledged that "racism exists...absolutely" in society in general. Whether that motivates you in any way, only you know the answer to that. You say it doesn't. I don't know anything objectively about you to contradict that. Yeah, it's because you choose to take it that way.
