I was involved in that Reagan re-election in 1984. Almost swept every state!...also the Jesse Helms re-election. Helms versus Hunt was nasty business!

Ron Paul has been subject to a smear campaign since before he even announced he was running. I said a long time ago that he MUST be destroyed.

Horton was the best. I was involved in that one as well with a big grin. The tank commander pick was fun too.

Post #45 is true believer speak. You have to be really locked in not to connect some basic dots with Clinton & Obama.

All you need today is the internets and blogs. There really isn't any skill to smearing anymore.

I'd be pissed if they let wheel into my country club. But I'd get over it because I am largely powerless. Make no mistake though there would be righteous indignation.

If he knowingly "double-dipped", F him.
If it was staff misdeed or gross sloppiness, they need to be fired.
If it was just true sloppiness on HIS part, it may change some peoples' view of his competency, but I doubt it.
If it truly was an innocent mistake or series thereof, who cares?

The republican party can barely defend their views on a good day. Every other time they are pandering to the left just hoping someone will like them.

If its true, then why the question mark at the end of the title? It's an article about a guy claiming something so that later people will think Ron Paul is dirty due to source amnesia, regardless of what is found later. I'm not a fan of this kind of journalism.

As you know smear campaigns happen routinely with this crop of leftists around today.

I don't know what your exact definition of "leftist" is, but it was a conservative magazine that published the article. Now, if it is true and there has been intentional wrongdoing, why would it matter to you who brought the matter forward

I read that Ron Paul is a secret Muslim, and the $10,000 was funneled to a Kenyan white supremacist group as a payoff for creating a fake birth certificate for his love child.
