Gimbel is out of country. I think for close to a year. Not sure, though. Pretty sure he won't be back to get the box though.

Brad - Since Jeremy has left us, we will need to find a place where we can meet up, rumage through the contents, smoke a cigar (or two), and decide our "puts and takes"...

Okay, so I know I'm a NOOB and all but I was a little underwhelmed (given all the talking) with the box when it finally got to my doorstep. I mean it was an impressive size and all (16x12x12 rough estimate) but somebody's been sneaking yard gars in while no-one's looking methinks. I mean if BrickHouse and Gurka's are your thing then you got your pick but I had to look pretty hard to find anything that I didn't already have, wanted to try, or felt inclined to pull from the box. I think the social contract is breaking down a bit on this one...I hope my contribution helped a bit on that front.

On the flip side, the box/bag for the troops is shaping up nicely! Great job guys! Also, whoever did the Texas swag did a great job... kudos to him!

There are elitist box passes going around if you want nicer sticks... but yes, there were a good bit of yard gar stuff in this one. I tried to fluff it up a little. Even pulled a brick house to take one out.

BTW, I remember a convo about these, but what are the cigars with the plain blue band? I pulled it too. No idea what to expect.

I would like to know who on the list feels bad about taking a Ghurka out. They are the culprits. We have an old saying, "when u smoke a Ghurka.....children cry".

No worries brother. There are a lot of great BOTL's on the back half of this thing. I'm sure its not as bad as it sounds, and by the time it gets to kombat , it will be a great box, with lots of personality and great smokes.

I'll smoke a brick house any day of the week. For the price point they are hard to beat (though there are a couple in that price range I like more)

Sweet now I won't feel bad when I unload the one I have on you;-p I'm not a fan. I got one when I first started smoking seriously and even back then I took 3 or 4 drags on it before running it under the faucet and tossing it. I've only ever done that on a Brickhouse and 3 different Gurkha's. It's been to long since my last package to you. As soon as the dust clears a bit from this week and I get caught up I'll make sure to send you something to say hi!
