[quote=AKDAVE]Last night I came home to a mailbox full of smokes. Sunoverbeach sent the package Monday and it longer than usual to find my mailbox....

Hope you enjoy them sir! To paraphrase Marcus, I had some other factors adding to my usual PIB number. I can count. I mean it!

I think the bomber of Celic persuasion was picking up Mikey. Believe ACasazza is up once he sends yours CL7.

Yeah I haven't sent yet because I was waiting for two boxes from overseas to get here so I could include a few nice Cubans, which we worked out in PM's. But, since I'm holding things up I'll make sure something goes out tomorrow so I don't hold things up any longer.

You're not holding things up. I was just recapping to show Mikey was covered.

If you want to roll with shipping though, there's an alternative address Mikey wants his Cubans shipped to. It's in NW Indiana. He's just little shy about telling people.

Sorry for the confusion Celtic. I actually meant Anthony. (ACasazza) has not sent yet. Apologies. You are not holding things up.

So it's been awhile shipping boxes for me... Here's a pro tip. When the lady asks if there's any liquid in the box DON'T blurt out yeah a bottle of Scotch. Then you get the "Sir, you can't ship alcohol" speech. I convinced her it was a type of ice tea(I don't really think I convinced her). Anyhoo
I had a tracking number but can't find the receipt(not a good morning) it was a priority mail medium flat rate box so expect it tomorrow or Saturday. I'm going to now to sit in a corner and flagellate myself for a bit. SmhAnxious

Well don't be surprised if it doesn't show up... Hopefully you have more luck than me though. I tried to do a trade with someone on here and the deal was wine for cigars. We both shipped and they received their end but I never got mine... USPS is the dumps.

But actually telling her it was scotch... Well, that is a different problem. .. Brick wall

That IS NOT how it should work. You commit to a trade or whatever ship asap or don't trade. You get a rep as an indifferent shipper you can forget getting a box from me and others. Just sayin.Whistle

Well, I personally ship within two days (most times next day) if I commit to playing. BUT... Different strokes, different folks.

I was thinking the same thing. The whole point is to build trade credit, so if you wait a week or two to ship, that lowers your chances of having people wanting to trade with you long term. (But I also understand life comes first...)

If you have work or travel or family issues involved for a while, maybe you should wait to play. Just my thoughts.

Sometimes life gets in the way, most here are patient and understand that...The way I look at it, these trades are an act of generosity, and I've never been disappointed, even if I've had to wait...

You get a reputation as being too impatient, you can forget about getting a box from me, and probably some others...Just sayinShame on you

Dude seriously. It's not like I expect someone standing over someone with a whipwhip screaming SHIP. But, if you agree to a trade and it takes 3 weeks to a month..... No one is THAT busy that they can't make it happen. Just sayin? I think....

Well,3 weeks would be extreme, but I live in New Hampshire, and the post office is a little out of the way. Sometimes between packing up the box and getting it to the post office, and then the time it takes in transit, a package delivered from me can take a week to a week and a half to be delivered.
I guess if you can't wait a week or so, you probably don't want to trade with me....just my .02 cents, FWIW

Shipping trades is something I do as a hobby and for fun, and something I do in my SPARE time...in between LIFE and WORK

I've spent all morning going through a packed garage looking for more HD's problem is I build high end Pc's for people and people also give me old HD's to clean for privacy which I wind up reusing until they fill. So I have a lot of old HD's all over the place. It's killing me because it was a massive file with everyone's addy details about who sent what, who likes what, who I felt I owed etc. Really want it back but it's not looking good.

Here's the tracking for @CigarLady7

USPS 9505 5067 0196 9137 0280 47

Apologize on the delay, got sent out of town for work and I graduate from college on the 26th so it's been hectic.

that comment did not go where I thought it was going... I could swear I heard a female voice start all cheery and then it felt like the voice dropped 3 Octaves and things started to freeze over. Might have even been a crack of lightning and black clouds roiling in the background (as you can see, the voices in my head have high production values) It sounded in point of fact like the dreaded mom voice. The one that says you're in trouble but you don't know what for yet and you start wondering what and how much she knows.... Or is it just me?Think

Aha! Yep. I fooled you. I've been to college twice. First for a trade and second time for a bachelor's. Worse decision ever. I never used one of those degrees till this day. My career now exceeds or doubles what I have actually gone to study and I did not do one day of school for it.

College = biggest scam in American history.
