Fall weather is here. No more working up a sweat thinking about taking a walk. Chili in the crock pot, casseroles in the freezer, ready to reheat. Love this time of year.

Sitting on the patio smoking a R&J Encedros and a glass of cab. And it is cool, my dog loves me! And we're listening to Nickleback radio what a wonderful world! Now if my sweety of 22 years would come out and join me..... oh well she's tired.

Sure do wish it would get autumn-y around here. Hot and horribly muggy... blech. This morning was beautiful, though. Rain all night and still overcast, then the custodian was mowing the lawn when I got to school... rain and freshly cut grass. Smelled heavenly!

LOL - I've always been kind of scarce during the school year, but this year I worked through the summer, too, so...
If we could get Lluvia to hang out a little more, things would really start to roll around here! I don't think Z is pulling his weight since he got himself all twitterpated, either! Spending valuable posting time kanoodling with his sweetie... the nerve!

It is. Last dentist appt for a while yesterday. First time in months that my mouth doesn't hurt.

Breakfast today is tea sandwiches. Egg salad, cucumber, strawberry tea sandwiches and tomato basil bacon canapes.

Holy crap on a cracker - I'm ready for a weekend!!! My kiddos were SQUIRRELLY today! Couldn't get out the classroom door without dropping in the floor for a 12-man brawl! Once we were up on our feet and dusted off and warned not to touch ANYONE under threat of DIRE consequences, getting them from point A to point B was like herding cats.

Morning folks!

Heading to Omaha to the zoo. Should be a fun day,It's one of the best in the world.
Might have to deal with the rain for the first part of the day. Temps are good though.

That's why they're such an economical choice. They take up a fraction of the acreage that an elephant or a water buffalo would require, because they occupy all of that previously underutilized vertical space.

Oooooo my aching legs! Fun day for sure but Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest!

My Favorite was the African Lioness and her cubs, Unbelievable how big and powerful they are when your face to face.

Funny that you mention Omaha Steaks, they actually have a restaurant there at the zoo. Was closed yesterday and we probably couldn't of afforded it anyway!
