Oniks! Zoinks!

The real issue people should be concerned with is Milie Cyrus and her performance at the VMA awards. We need an amendment.

The train wreck is already in progress. However, there is no way Obama will take responsibility for any of his failures. His apologists in the liberal media, the many community organizers/ sh*t stirrers, and a relatively clueless electorate will ensure that any and all blame for this administration's blunders will be placed elsewhere.

I'll imagine the people killed by guns and bombs are so much happier they are not killed by nerve gas.

Meanwhile, Obama, with the unwavering help of war hawk John McCain, is rushing us into WWIII. Idiots, really really dangerous idiots.

No. See War Powers Act. 48 hours to notify Congress. Sixty days of use of force. 30 days more to withdraw...

^This allows for unprovoked aggression, meaning it justifies our attacking people arbitrarily that we see as the criminals even though they haven't harmed nor interefered with our national interests? That's F'ed up.

That would also explain why we bombed the Serbs during the Bosnian conflict- folks who defended and hid our pilots from the nazis in WWII. All so that the Bosnian muslims would later fight us in Iraq.

I go to Serbia at least twice a year for business. I've driven across bridges we bombed and know people who lost civilian friends.

The USA goal was to weaken the region and break up Yugoslavia into smaller nations that are easier to control. To achieve this we sacrificed Serbs who actually are our friends. You are exactly correct as to who was on what side in WW2...and the Croatians operated the Nazi concentration camps while the Serbs were Tito's partisans fighting with us and the Soviets.

The USA committed war crimes in Serbia. So did others. Winners don't get prosecuted.

For various players in the Syrian war, it would make tremendous strategic sense to conduct a false flag operation and draw the USA into the conflict.

For Assad and his government, it makes absolutely no sense to use chemical weapons.

Whatever....I need to go buy some Raytheon and Lockheed stock.

I bet it is too late on the stock.

Others postulate that it makes sense for Assad to use gas as a way of flaunting/antagonizing the west and its "red line" mentality. The theory is tht he will continue pushing his limits a little bit at a time over the long run- and that the west will aqcuess by default.

First, why do you assume that he'd use them? Al Qaeda is just as likely to purposely kill off civilians for propaganda purposes, and they are the force behind the "rebels."

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel suggested Friday that the Pentagon was moving naval forces closer to Syria in preparation for a possible decision by President Obama to order military strikes.

The president's senior national security advisers are expected to meet at the White House this weekend to discuss possible military options for responding to the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government, a U.S. official told Fox News Friday.

U.S. defense officials told The Associated Press that the Navy had sent a fourth warship armed with ballistic missiles into the eastern Mediterranean Sea but without immediate orders for any missile launch into Syria.

U.S. Navy ships are capable of a variety of military action, including launching Tomahawk cruise missiles, as they did against Libya in 2011 as part of an international action that led to the overthrow of the Libyan government.

"The Defense Department has a responsibility to provide the president with options for contingencies, and that requires positioning our forces, positioning our assets, to be able to carry out different options -- whatever options the president might choose," Hagel said.

He said the U.S. is coordinating with the international community to determine "what exactly did happen" in the reported use by the Syrian government of chemical weapons against civilians earlier this week. "We're still assessing that," he said.

What then? Bomb them. Rebuild them $$$. Give them visas to come here. Finally, thank everyone for service to our country?
We are MAD.

Keep in mind the rebels are made of of Sunnis in one group and Al Qaeda linked Islamists in the other group

The rebels don't like each other. The rebels are not winning right now. When the USA and its League Of Justice attacks, weakens the current government, and the Assad administration collapses, the rebels will turn on each other. That is when the real fun starts.

We know we don't want the Islamists to win yet as Dennis Kucinich put it so eloquently, striking Syria would turn the United States military into “al-Qaeda’s air force.”

Maybe we did it. Now we can shoot at Shiites and feel good about it. Or....you're going to love this one, Robert.......I read one commentary suggesting that Israel did it; apparently there's some new oil deal between Iran/Iraq/Syria....but Israel just discovered a bunch of oil off shore in the Med and they need to jeopardize the Shiite oil deal AND bring NATO in for defense of drilling operations. Another article said that Saudis and Omanis did the gassing to f up that same oil deal. Jeez that place is a mess. A dozen unsavory suspects all with motive and opportunity.....

FEATURED

Chemical Weapons allegation against Syria: Obama attempts to smokescreen his reported criminal bribery

A “primer” note to fix in mind while reading the following article:

“It’s” all about Obama. Everything; his foreign policy actions as well as his domestic actions and inactions. Remember: Obama is not well. He is narcissistic in nature, as well as being a liberal, progressive, socialist and Marxist, all rolled into one contrived “package.” Oh yes, let us not forget that Obama is a pathological liar.

Obama attempts to smokescreen his reported criminal bribery to America’s terrorist Middle East enemies:

Obama’s puppet Morsi, did not fare well. Egyptians came out en masse calling for him to step down. The Egyptian Military listened. Now, Obama, has switched his Middle East meddling Muslim Brotherhood supporting focus. He is gung ho to drive Syria’s Assad out of office. Increasingly, sensible Middle Easterners don’t want Obama’s “Arab Spring.”

It’s getting very old. The same familiar cycle continues. When another Obama scandal surfaces; Obama and his brown nosing mainstream media drum up another “news story” to smokescreen Obama’s on-going and added criminal offenses against America.

This time, the criminal offense to be smoke-screened is Obama’s reported illegal and criminal “bribe” money to America’s sworn Islamic terrorist enemies. The smokescreen now offered up by Obama and his enabling lackey kowtowing mainstream media? It’s the [supposed] perpetrated Syrian chemical (warfare) atrocity allegations. This, of course, is Obama’s familiar signature activity to help divert America’s population away from all his criminal scandals and criminal ID fraud, perpetrated against traditional, patriotic and Constitutional America, – of which, fraud, also helped him to usurp his way into the US White House.

Read for yourself the following excerpt, how, not only Obama is implicated, but, Hillary Clinton, as well:

Obama Administration Paid Bribes to America’s Enemy – godfatherpolitics.com/

Excerpt:

Would it surprise you to learn that the Obama administration had paid bribes as much as $850,000 to Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood leaders prior to the military takeover of the government?

Hisham Barakat, Egypt’s Attorney General is investigating the bribery charges as well as other criminal charges against Mohammad Morsi and other top Muslim Brotherhood leaders. Their trials for crimes against the country begin this week. Among the charges that Morsi and his colleagues are facing are murder, assassinations, orchestrated prison escapes, sniping, indiscriminate killing of demonstrators and collaborating with foreign governments which include the United States and Qatar.

According to an Egyptian judicial source, Morsi and his fellow leaders accepted ‘gifts’ or bribes paid to them in US dollars through the US embassy in Cairo. Almersryoon, an Egyptian newspaper reported: …………..

……….The charges of accepting bribes from the US is further bolstered by a Qatar document that lists the monthly ‘gifts’ paid out to the various members of the Muslim Brotherhood. The ‘gifts’ or bribes added up to $750,000 to $850,000 each per year. Mind you this, in addition to the hundreds of millions of dollars that Obama was sending the Egyptian government, is against the will of Congress. The Qatar document will be used by Barakat as evidence in the trials this week.

The US has video evidence that these same Muslim leaders, including Morsi, identified the US as an enemy in the same category as Israel that must be destroyed. This makes them enemies of the US. Now we have more evidence that the Obama administration was paying bribes to our enemies of three quarters of a million dollars or more a year.

This should come as no surprise since the bribes were paid through the US embassy in Cairo. Our embassies are operated by the State Department and at the time of the bribe payments, Hillary Clinton was the Secretary of State. Her closest aid and confident was Huma Abedin, whose mother is a member of the Muslim Sisterhood, the women’s version of the Muslim Brotherhood. That makes both President Obama and Hillary Clinton guilty of treason for aiding and abetting our enemies and Hillary guilty of harboring someone who most likely spied for the Muslim Brotherhood and Sisterhood. Abedin would have had access to the most sensitive and confidential State Department information……….. -godfatherpolitics.com/

Meh. Legislature always claims War Powers are unconstitutional. Presidencies always claim the privilege is absolute. Obama has got to move as quick as possible, before he risks losing any more support.

We want to bomb Syria to send Assad to send a strong signal not to use chemical weapons.

We don't really know who used the chemical weapons.

We don't want a sustained campaign to topple Assad.

We definitely don't want the Islamists to take over and take possession on Syria's chemical weapons.

It seems that we would better off just dropping some bombs in the desert, say it was some sort of bunker, filming it, and releasing the video to the media.
