Never heard of Noda & I'm only an hour north of there.

Don't get me wrong, I like to read what others say about a brew. It's always while I'm drinking it, has no effect on any purchase.

BA gave Rogue Voodoo Dougbut a '66'....I still bought a bottle. I couldn't even finish a glass & poured the rest of the swill down the drain. Worst beer I've ever had. The reviews were accurate. Again it's not a hard & fast rule for me to avoid lower scored beers, but lets just say I pay a lot more attention now than I did before.

And if you're already drinking it while you're reading about it Greg...how do you know about the ones you're missing out on or don't have access to?? ;)

I can't seem to get around to all the ones I do have access to.

You're correct on the Rogue voodoo Kyle, but I buy one every year. I did finish it. You've obviously never tried Schaeffer (sp?).

This one?

http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/442/1318/

If so, nope, never. If the beers not hoppy, chances are I'm not drinking it. I'm stuck in a rut..

That's the stuff. Horrid.

I'm in an imperial stout rut myself.

^ I was on one of those in 2012....then a buddy and me tried 'Stout night' on New Years. Drank nothing but Russian Imperials. The good'ens that are all 10+ ABV. Worst mistake ever. Ungodly hangover, vomiting etc. Ruined me on em' even still. My remaining stash of em is aging nicely though..lol.

Kyle, I hear ya on the IPA rut......but I've been in it SO long that I'm going back to Imperial Stouts, Porters, and really enjoyed a few Imperial Pumpkins earlier in the fall. I guess I'm in an Imperial rut right now.

Greg,

I've got a couple cigars and a stout or two for you if you end up with some of those noda IPAs you don't mind shipping...

Dan,

Same goes to you if you want to trade some el cumbre elevated ipa cans.

Something very appealing to me about IPA in tall boy cans...

Dunno if I'm reading this right. You have el cumbre elevated ipa and want to trade? Or you want el cumbre elevated ipa?

I've never heard of it, so can't offer it in trade.

If you have it, and think it to be tasty, I'm willing to trade some local hop bombs.

There's some semi-local canned IPA's from Indiana I can pick up next time I'm down in Indy. The four local breweries by me only bottle.

Kimon, I will look around and see what I can find......we do get some beer from NM up here from time to time. Many good CO beer to be had as well.......believe we have over 200 breweries now.

danmdevries came through in a big way -- got a bomber of Panzer Wolf, which I've been dying to try, and a bottle of something called Blakkr, which is a black IPA collaboration between 3F and Surly. This is awesome, Dan, can't wait to pop these open.

I'm gonna try to have something out to you tomorrow, but if not then Monday.

Hey KPP -- Just so you know I'm still on the lookout for the Duet and the Nelson. Not as easy to come by as I had thought. I feel like I used to see them on shelves all the time, but not anymore.

No worries whatsoever Eric...if you can't find any, that's no big deal. But if you come across any even in 3-4 months from now, the trade offer still stands. Stands indefinitely for that matter.

I can get this for you, but I'm not sure when this year's batch will be released.

EDIT: Seems that it was just released this month, in which case I'm sure I can track one down without too much difficulty.

OK, I'll let you know if I can scare some up today. I haven't seen it in any shops, but their website says that the release date is March 2014. I'll let you know.

I'm just getting into seegars, so I'm really only looking to trade for those.

Fell to the end of the second page, almost 3rd.

Bring it up because I still have some beers left to trade. 4 bombers of 3floyd's beers (list available upon request-in not home right now) and a couple bottles of zombie dust left as well.
