I normally go 4 days but another day won’t hurt.

I had a V about 10 years ago and thought it was mild to medium, but bland is all I remember. It was small format cigar, maybe a Souane. It could be that it was past its prime. I think it was grassy...

New ones any good?

The line was completely changed years ago. New vitolas and all hand rolled IIRC. Still on the mild+ or medium side but a pretty good deal until recent pricing. Used to get the 16 cans of robusto sized (Centrofino) for under $80.

Interesting. I have only smoked a handful of Vs, but I like them (a lot) because I find them to be fuller and richer than most of the other coobans I've smoked. The link describes them as medium to full. I would agree with that. But cigars hit different people differently.

Now a can is more in the $160 range, which seems to be a good bit less than other cooban long fillers nowadays. I'm waiting for a monthly promotion to drop the entretiempos to $130 or $140, and I'll probably get another can.

Smoked a HdM Epicure # 1 today that needed a whole lot of help from the perfecdraw to smoke.

Prolly been through 5-6 cans of Centrofonos and a few 16/packs of Topados in the recent years. I don't find them to be nearly as full as Bolivar or Partagas of a similar vitola. YMMV I suppose. Think

I see what you mean. Not as a full as a Party short. I agree. Don't have much experience with Bolivars.

Good though. Herfing

SWIM advises prices are slowly deflating over the last 6 weeks.

SWIM is very intrigued by the way cigars from Canada are boxed in Cuba. Plain grey cardboard boxes with a warning sticker packaged solely for Canadian tobacco law compliance. Plain easily removing stickers covering the factory labels.

I would think Canadian cigars will age faster than those in traditional dress boxes and cabs- due to increases oxygen. That isn't ideal from long term aging, but will get them through the sick phase (ammonia smell) sooner.

SWIM thinks he is also getting "The Letter."

Havana has stopped making SO many of the cigars I loved. RC, QdO Corona, Boli CG... and now that the price is triple what it was, I just won't pay those prices for the ones they still make.

Been re-discovering NC's I still appreciate.

My petit 2 2020 I believe could’ve been anywhere from 18-20. Don’t recall box code. Got it from a split with Sean when I joined here. He did include the code I didn’t write it down

Frame it. Usually happens when you buy multiple boxes and that draws more attention. Many vendors ship only one box per package even if ordered all at once.

Funny story: That caused me to get a BOGO on Cohiba Behike 52s many years ago.
