Just smh at the result. We demand 6th place, damnit!

Day started early to go see my boys play in a spring exhibition. Trying to decide now, with Mrs Monkey out of town, whether to be productive while I smoke or just smoke.

Think

I would wager your team finishes ahead of Arsenal. United will finish third or fourth, with my guys behind them.

Nope... only thing biting were the mackerel. Same story for every boat we asked... nada. We did bring Mrs MACS 8 mackerel and we saw 4 whales. Momma whale and a baby were about 75 yds from the boat.

Freaked me out a bit.

Nice evening with the family including my brother in law and his two little girls.

Keep my brother in law and his family in your prayers. Their newborn son is in the hospital and almost passed away. He seems to be doing a little better but it's hard to tell. He has RSV really bad and because he is only a few weeks old it is really bad for him. This is the same couple that had their house burn down a couple months ago. They need a break.

Watched Spurs almost choke a 2 goal lead against Everton. Cleaned half the garage, gathered and burned sticks in the yard. 2 cigars. Productive morning. Now keeping an eye on the embers and relaxing a bit until Mrs Monkey returns from horse show land.

Frozen custard run, spent $100 on coffee and a half pound of 65% humi beads from the Heart.

Finishing of a HDM oscuro and a double Basil Hayden's.

A fine afternoon.

Delta ain't what it used to be years ago, they had something called Song for a while, pretty close to the level Jet Blue now offers...but Song went away

Hey... Got upgraded to comfort+... free booze and movies!

I swear... I've watched more movies on planes the past 3 years than in theatres or at home.

Dammit... tiny commuter plane does not have a screen on the seats. Going to have to watch on my phone which means waiting until we're airborne.

I'm gonna need more alcohol.

Back when I was doing RAGBRAI... the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa, there was a team named Team Roadkill. They would stop and put stickers and balloons on all the road kill we came across while riding our bicycles across Iowa.

I started out with Team Lone Star. The next year I was on Team Blaster. One year I got kicked off Team Blaster for emptying an ice chest of it cokes one night and putting beer in it. Then I got picked up by Team Loud Quack (the Ducks).

It was good times and bad times, but mostly good... Beer
