Mornin' - It's National Farm Rescuer Day, National Artichoke Hearts Day, National Everything You Do Is Right Day and National Freedom of Information Day.

I hear TW nearly has the shipping problems all cleared up on this National Everything You Do Is Right Day and expects to finish the job before he leaves tomorrow at noon for his 3 week vacation during CBIDs annual vacation shutdown.

So cbid is closing for three weeks?
I thought they only closed for 1 week?

You could argue they've been shut down for a few weeks already. Gonz

Today is my Friday....wind chill in the teens this morning...however, with help from a little global warming, I should be fishing this weekend....hopefully without having to break ice at the ramp

As though DST (spring forward) wasn't bad enough, now we have to "charge" back?

Bad news for you. You are going to end up paying more now; cigars are now extra aged.

Yep they probably closing. Time to call Penn. Attorney general or maybe DRmadvd could quit trolling and get back to work filling orders.

order 14 days late. Stuck in processing mode. CB phone number rings busy continuously. No response from two cbid inquiries that is supposed to have a 24 hour response time.

This is why you should always buy local when you can. Buy from a small business mom and pop store if you can afford it. After 13 years of being a faithful customer, with thousands of dollars spent every year cbid/CI doesn't even know my name and doesn't even care enough to respond. Well done!

I'm not going to argue that things aren't fucked up....bigly....BUT, even when this place is running somewhat smoothly, they rarely answer cbid inquiries or email within 24 hours. Gotsta call 'em...though I know that's not going to help much right now when they've got the phone off the hook. They'll fix this...eventually...but for future reference, after the crisis, use the phone....if it's been reconnected

The phone isn't answered after numero u still tries so when you little girls quit giggling over your weak smart a $s retorts to those that are owed maybe you would empathise a bit, you nonce!

I pm'd the moderator drmaddvibe and he took care of my order and even added a 10% off and free shipping code for future use.

If you are diligent in sending him messages he will get to the bottom of it for you.

Thanks again!

I'm pretty sure calling people nonces (great usage tho!) Then whining about a lack of empathy is... well dumb.

If you want empathy go to a knitting and twilight reading forum... cry with the rest of the emotional nonces... this is a cigar forum.

If I am diligent? I have to beg these people to send me what I've already paid for? They can keep their 10% I just want my lot I won and paid for. Listen, you gals have to be newbies at this cigar smoking game. If an order is sitting, and I doubt it has even been located, in a UPS warehouse for a week or 2, the lack of proper environmental humidity will probably effect the pleasure of the smoke. I should have seen the warning sign when they do business with that hack company UPS. ALWAYS FedEx! UPS is one step ahead of usps. What a joke. Here endeth your free lesson on cigars and shipping of same.

Yes, if it knows it has ghost pepper sauce on it's hands, then the eyes will automatically itch.

The one piece of software they have up and running is Bictch-Trak.

Everytime a client complains, they put the order at the end of the line.

Enjoy your order in October........... '18.

I came home to a garage door that wouldn't open. Thought my opener battery was dead. Nope... power was out since 7am and just came on 10 minutes ago.

Fridge still has ice, and the beer is still cold so... all is well. Beer
