Need to renew my truck license plates. Tried to do it but says I need emissions test this year. Went to emissions place and they wouldn't test me because the truck is over 9000lb gvwr. Went back to DMV and they said no, you either need a pass form or an exempt waiver from the test site. Called test site and they said they do not test or exempt vehicles over 9k lbs...

Ending another long day rebuilding the dock........seems like everytime I remove deckboards it reveals another part of the support structure that needs to be shored up. When I started this I thought all I needed to do is replace decking. The bottle jack and comealong have become my friend. I would complain about the original bad construction that contributed to my woes but alas...after 30 years, I think I am past the statute of limitations.

Still recovering from Sat. Cooked for around 40 peeps. Fired up TPWD's big sidewinder pit for brisket, pork butts, and shikens. Also baked potatoes. Managed to get everything done on time somehow. I hate using other peeps equipment but it all came out good and everyone went home with a full belly.

So you know how sometimes you can track a package and it takes a multi state roundabout trip to its destination?

I ordered something from Canada, it got to Ottawa, Ontario in 2 days and then stalled. Then it shows up in Germany... that was March 8. Don't think I'll be getting my package.
