Happy Tuesday fellas.

My dad called me this morning to go pick up his camper and bring it home. They're in Florida. So I did that. Got stuck backing it up their driveway since nobody's there to plow/salt. Had to cut open one of my sandbags and pour some sand to get it up the tiny hill. I should probably get a 4wd truck next time.

Fed n watered the chickens outside. Cleaned the house chickens' crate.

Bought a box of fuses (couldn't find mine) and replaced wiper fuse in truck - was blown, and overrated (30 in a 15a socket) Hopefully it's just the motor and not the BCM - difference between a $150-200 repair and a $1500-2000 repair. Lights dim briefly when I hit the "mist" function on the control, so I'm thinking the power's reaching the motor but the motor or linkage is seized. The relays are printed into the BCM circuit board and are not serviceable. Hopefully they didn't roast with the oversize fuse that was in there.

Pulled wife's car, all the bikes, and some other stuff outta the garage to thaw out the truck. Only leaves 6 inches in the front and 1 inch behind when I pull the truck in there so can't work on it in the garage but at least will thaw it all out so I can get the cowl off and do some more testing. Since they can't get me in till Friday I might as well just do it myself as long as it's just the motor....

I used to do it that way.

These days I just turn up the thermostat in the garage. Keep it at the lowest it'll go (old analog mercury one with a missing dial) and it holds the garage at 40-50F. No more headaches and surprise naps.

Got the wipers working again. Had to run to the dealer to get a new wiper motor assembly. The spindles, drive arms, motor and drive assembly are all one unit. Took about 3 hours total including the run to dealer. Not too bad. Managed to do it all inside the garage too, so didn't freeze.

Pulled truck back out and put wife's car away. Noticed that I have a headlight out on the truck. I have a bulb somewhere. Don't feel like doing it right now, that side requires removing the airbox assembly to get at the headlight. Maybe later tonight since it's Tuesday and I need to stay up all night to sleep all day tomorrow before work.

Looks like I have been officially been blackballed here. Makes me sad. I really appreciate the friends I have made. I will be checking back on a few things but you won’t see me much anymore. Enjoy the rest of your week, folks.

Kinda like the friend who pushes you toward the edge of the roof and then pulls you back just in time?

Like that?

Hank, put on a coat and stay a while. You've gained a lot of cred in recent months....quit the drama queen act and stick around.
I unblocked your posts after seeing the MS Herf guys speak so highly of you. I've suggested to you a number of times to try to read more, post less....and don't be so reactive. Stay or go...your choice, but I'm pretty sure nobody 'blackballed' you....fed you some (well deserved?) chit, perhaps, but nothing I've read warrants a pity party

When the MS guys ( Robert and Tuck, especially) say you're good peeps, it means a lot....don't squander it

I smoke in my garage and the last couple of weeks I've been seeing and hearing a mouse... Then these last couple of days, he's apparently decided that we're friends, often sneaking up to my feet while I'm sitting in my rocking chair... Not cool...

So I set a trap yesterday... About 15 seconds after turning my back to it, snap... Poor guy probably thought I was feeding him...

Tacos.

Back to work. Looks like it's gonna be a busy week starting off with zero open beds in the hospital.

Maybe it'll go by quickly.

Some people just do not know how to handle support.I know Tuck personally......I trust him.But when Hank once again shows up to throw his own pity party.............Tuck needs to hang out here more but this is one of the many reasons guys move along.

Hank as nicely as I can say this.......you are not blackballed, you have received the equivalent of a spanking you'd give a 3 year old.Take your punishment,STFU and move on.Good luck

Ram's wife makes a great scallopini. Chef
I've only had the pleasure of enjoying it on one occasion, RamStock, but the memory of it has stayed with me.
Good stuff !
