You got a kindergartener in your house? You're getting sick as often as we are!

Yah..........saw an elderly Asian woman coughing while walking in the Fred Meyer parking lot.
I “ran” the other way after determining the wind direction.
Made it about 30 feet.......then doubled over and coughed my guts out.
She kinda snickered at me as she strolled by.

83 sounds REALLY ambitious....I'm thinking 70 would be a realistic goal

And don't worry too much about the virus -- you'll probably not even notice it. Just be glad you didn't get the Realbeer Virus

Didn't have quite enough left over tile from six years ago to patch the backsplash where we replaced the microwave with range hood. Ordered some from HD, got it in and put it up and come to find that the color has changed slightly in the intervening years. I didn't even notice and couldn't care less, but my wife noticed immediately. Have searched the entire world wide interwebs and found just one store with remaining stock of the old color. It's in Ottawa. And they won't ship to the states......aaaaarrrrrgggghhh.....I even begged the customer service gal to just buy if for me and mail it -- send I'd pay her handsomely...for want of one stupid sheet of barely off color tiles, we're probably going to end up redoing the entire kitchen....fluk

I like the thinking...but it's a 10x10 square in a space about 36x30...would be a hell of an accent....worth proposing, though

People who say 60 feel different when they turn 60.

I don't want to live too long, but I sure as hell as want to get a few social security checks from the gubmint before I check out.

Need to have my wife outlive me. I'd be an epic wreck if she went first.

When I had it, I couldn't sleep - kept waking up coughing. Ended up doing nyquil and getting some sleep and it got me feeling better.

When I have a bad cold with a lot of coughing, I go to my doctor and ask for some cough syrup with codeine. I take it about 30 minutes before bedtime and it totally knocks me out. Pretty groggy the next morning but what a great nights sleep! I’ll lessen the amount I take as I get better so that I’m not in a hungover-like stupor for too many days.

Mom is having a heart procedure at 8:15. On my way there in a couple minutes.

I’ll gladly accept prayers on her behalf from any of you good people. Even the bad ones.

Have peace.

Cant recall having a night as bad as last night. At least not in recent memory.

Lost one. Nearly lost two more and probably will in the coming days.

Horrible night. Even worse for those present not on staff. At least I got paid to deal with it. The families lose someone and they get a bill.

The icing on the cake while we're pumping away on a patient's chest and all the alarms are going off, the wife of another patient wanders over and asks us to "keep it down cause I'm trying to sleep" kindly told her to **** off. I'm sure I'll hear about that one from management later.

Its gonna take a lot of bourbon to quiet my brain this morning. Running (often literally) at full tilt all night long.

Morning all. Positive thoughts 8. Just below freezing here with snow coming. We've had quite a bit of rain this winter but very little snow, maybe 3 inches. Unusual to say the least.

Prayers for your Mom, 8track. Hope all goes well

Morning all, I'm pretty beat, love my grandchildren, for sure. But, the driving 25 minutes to drop them of at school by 7:20, then our youngest grandson to his daycare about 10 minutes away, then repeat this morning as well as this afternoon. I'm gonna need a nap and plenty of rest this weekend, WHEW! That boy is a mess and a handful. Thank goodness , he's got a good heart, just can be a stubborn little rascal sometimes! NO IDEA where he gets that, LOL

ON a side note, there are studies that say stubborn children are usually rich as adults, LMAO! He should be well off at least!

Lived in San Diego and los Angeles for years... I'm grateful my parents moved to this small town and that my wife and her family are from here as well...

Boys school is the furthest morning destination from the house - slightly over a mile... Wife's work is 6 blocks down the street from that... Daughter's school is 3 blocks down from that...

Takes me less than15 minutes to drop all 3 off and grab me a quick brekkie at maccas...

Makes a big difference to have some help. She's back to being a single mother and plans on moving to our growing small town, mainly for the public school here. Hopefully she can do that soon! She's just accepted the nurse manager job for a 1 pm to 9 pm shift, M-F. After less than a year after getting her BS in Nursing. That's gonna be tricky. My ex doesn't do well trying to keep both her School aged daughter and her youngest son that will be 3 in May. This is Peyton's mother. I'm just proud she kept on until she got her Bachelor of Nursing. She did that mainly for him.
