ZERO customer service I was notified I won a bid. Hours waiting on phone and NOTHING! Messages on site, NOTHING!

Actually, if I have bad food/service at a restaurant that I happen to like and would like to keep patronizing, I will bring it to the attention of management in hopes of rectifying the situation. I suppose I could take your suggestion and not deal with the bad food/service by staying silent and slinking out the back like a whiney little bitch.

I suggest voting with your wallet or STFU. There is a global pandemic right now that just might be affecting customer service at your 'favorite' online cigar vendor.

Well, I guess I hit a nerve. Two suggestions: switch to decaf and anger management. And the next time Cbid screws you on an order, take your own advice and you can STFU. As far as I am concerned, I am willing to agree to the terms Cbid sets and always have agreed to. But as long as they have my credit card number, refuse to follow their own terms, and then won't allow access to customer service, I will speak up. And if you think this is pointless, this is a free country and I appoint you President of the Cigar Bid Benevolent Society of Brown Nosers. Also, since you have claimed that Cbid's business has increased as of late, clearly the pandemic hasn't affected sales in a negative way. Sales up, customer service down; what a business model you seem to want to defend so passionately.

Sales is always more important. Nothing happens until someone sells something. They are doing that well and are staying with that mindset.

My purpose was not to complain but to inform. Cbid tried playing games with over charging on shipping by not following their own stated policies some time ago. In response, I started a thread on this forum to bring to the attention of others using Cbid to watch out for this. Ultimately Cbid management actually responded on the forum that they were "changing their policy" and going back to charging as their original shipping policy stated, which they did. So, call it complaining if you wish, but I call it informing, which in this case resulted in Cbid returning to their originally stated shipping policies and stop the sneaky over charging on shipping.

Of course, had I taken Stogie1020's advice and just STFU and gone elsewhere, the overcharging would in all probability have continued indefinitely, unless someone else brought it up.

My purpose in bringing up this latest overcharging for shipping was again to alert others to keep an eye out for the same. Stogie 1020 keeps ranting that "'Management' does not browse these forums looking for complaints". Although I can't speak to whether or not they currently do or don't browse these forums looking for complaints, I can speak with certainty that in the past they in fact did. In my original posting they did respond, and I have no reason so far to think anything has changed and they no longer check the forums.

I would have gladly brought this up originally with customer service, which I tried to do, but they don't seem to be taking anybody's calls. And (sarcasm alert) for all you whiny little bitches who continue to complain about complainers on the forum, how do you respond to the numerous posts on numerous threads on the forum regarding customer service's disappearing act?

As has been previously stated in previous posts, evidently Cbid's orders are way up and customer service seems to be way down. Hell of a business model. How anybody, from the customer's point of view, can defend this is beyond me.

It's strange, I've been ordering from CBid for a few months now, and have always gotten my packages either right on the estimated arrival date, or a day or to before. Haven't had an issue with them (knock on wood) but maybe I just have a horseshoe stuck up my arse.

I have noticed, they start by sending UPS, and then send the package to the Post Office for final delivery. I thought that was a little odd, because I've never seen that happen before.

That is UPS Smart Post. It is an official Thing UPS does They get it to your neighborhood, USPS delivers it to your house. Saves on shipping for CBid and others, and ususally adds a day to delivery times for the receiver.

But there is a Minute cost savings when you use smartpost.

Yes I am a NOOB, have only started with CB since December. I have gotten all my orders except for one 5-pack. As I have seen on here, I am no more special than any of you trying to get a hold of customer service. A month ago I did manage to actually talk to a live person but issue wasn't resolved. I'm not put any money just the enjoyment of the cigars that I'll never receive. Cheers!

This is good. Your follow through is poor.

You aren’t done with this site. Repeating multiple times that you are Done shows you aren’t serious.

That is magnified by you then responding to the initial post.
