Went to Costco and got a few things. It sure didn't seem like $120 worth of stuff... but that's what I paid.

Water, coffee, steaks, chuck roast, chikens... and I really should stop buying cases of water for awhile. I have 7 stacked up in the garage and another case of gallon jugs. d'oh!

Never understood hoarding that particular item. You'd think bath soap would be a little more important.

I listened to an interesting podcast on how toilet paper hoarding became a "problem".

It's a combination of a lot of factors, including parallel supply chains, the volume TP takes up on shelves, the increased at-home demand vs office demand, and a teeny tiny shove from preppers.

Fascinating how all that then spirals into individual panic.

Danm, I have hard clay here in AZ and one thing I found to help loosen up the clay/soil for grass rooting growth is pulverized gypsum. You can get a 40# bag at HD for under $10 and then just spread it out over the area and repeat every few months. It's like stool softener for soil.

Might have to give that a try

I'm beat.

Been outside since 0800, did a lot of manual labor, and then some in the lawnmower seat with several beers.

Time to shower and call it a day.

This seems like a long 500 so I'll contribute.

Went on a weekend fishing/camping trip. Temps in the 90's.

My brother and I caught 32 bass over the course of a couple evenings worth of fishing. Fished from 5 or 6pm to around 10pm

Cooked some steaks on the fire. Good times.

466 miles round trip.

I've never paid too much attention to the lifespan of a 500 thread but a week and a half doesn't seem too long...or is it? Think

Idk I just figured that there would be a new one today when I logged on. It seems that some move at a faster pace than others.

That is a good question. It has been a while since I have prepared the fish I've caught....
We had already brought the steaks with us and we didn't how many fish we were gonna catch. Turned out that we caught a lot in a short amount of time. Shoulda done both. Lol

Freshwater bass is not good eating, IMO. Largemouth or smallmouth... fun to catch, but catch and release.

Ya, bass is pretty far down on the list of edible freshwater fish...

Meh. It was just slow last week and particularly over the weekend
But, of course I am willing to help move this faster.
